Well, not, because even if Eriksen did leave now, Lo Celso coming in is clearly not linked to that as Lo Celso has come in with absolutely no guarantee of Eriksen leaving.

So the Fernandes and Lo Celso not being dependent on Eriksen thing turned out not to be the case.

That's not true is it? I thought it was, Ndombele, Lo Celso and sessegnon were not dependent on Eriksen leaving.

The only worrying thing from this window is if we now sell Eriksen.

With all the information we’ve had, I don’t have faith in him signing one.

I agree, but I just wouldn't use his contract situation as a factor in judging the transfer window.

I'd rather lose him on a free (not my money!), and hopefully given another year, maybe win a cup. He did say that he would sign a contract if none of his choices: RM/Barca didn't come in for him. Once all the TWs have shut, he might just sign.

Poor Eriksen. RM, Barca didn't want him, and if we coulda got Dybala, most Spurs fans would have wanted Eriksen gone. Kinda feel sorry for him. But, hey-ho. Hope he signs a new deal, and we see the Eriksen from a few years ago.

Hard to feel sorry for Eriksen if I'm honest as it's largely a situation of his own making.

As for RM and Barca not wanting him, it's hardly surprising when you consider he did very little to put himself in the shop window since Christmas.

Do agree that i hope he signs a new deal and gets his head back in the game as he is still a fantastic player.

I’ve not been about as much lately but who said that?

I remember at the start Ndombele and Lo Celso not being dependent, but what I’ve seen the last day is if Eriksen went we would replace. Ok Eriksen still might go and because of that I’d expect Levy to not allow a lowball offer, but I don’t think anyone really expected us to have Eriksen, Lo Celso and Fernandes all at the club at the same time.

Assuming Eriksen leaves then we could have done with a replacement. However, Poch has been backed and is surely delighted, therefore so am I.

Every possibility Toby and Eriksen could still leave.

Yes on paper it looks good that they’ve stayed, but if it’s true that Eriksen no longer wants to be here, it isn’t a good thing that he hasn’t left yet.

Same here and i think that Poch alluded to this kind of situation when he said how the club has to be brave.
