Believe goats when suits don’t believe when suits ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️ Everything is about personal narrative never based on anything else.
To be fair, we don't need ITK to show us how Levy operates. All the evidence is there.

The most frustrating part is that we kept being told that this was a buyer's market, and that we had money to spend. Whilst I think the guys we got in have potential it's not like we got anyone for bargain prices. We paid close to, if not more than you'd expect, despite the players not being linked with other clubs. So to now also leave glaring weaknesses in the squad is very poor. Can't give 'The Don' more than 4/10 for this window.

If true, it's not the fact that we're missing out on targets that could propel us to the next level that's most disappointing, but that Levy still hasn't learned to keep out of the footballing side of things. Until he does, we're always going to be limited in what we achieve.

We've had a solid start to the season, but let's not pretend that we blew those teams away. All three games were on a knife edge and could potentially have gone either way.

Don't get Levy's mindset at all. We are top of the league, although it's only for 3 games, all the more we should go all out to strengthen and win as much as possible the remaining 35 games and we can win the title. It's not even optimistic talk but probability. Why lessen the chance of winning when we are already in pole position to begin with?

Hopefully we start laying the ground work for a new forward and/or a creative midfielder in January now then. And just hope no one gets crocked between now and Christmas.

Personally think Traore was overpriced. Just because the goat says this doesn't mean it's completely true. Could be from a source that is very anti Levy and embellished a bit.

Probably not but as always you should take caution with info.

I back the unknown source that is the Goat over Levy every day

I for one look forward to qualifying for the Conference league again....:(

I think that's the highest we can go.

Well, if we win the bloody thing we get the EL anyway.

Sorry, but even with the squad we have as of now, there’s no excuse not to win that competition.

We was told just yesterday Fab works until the last moment on deadline day? What happened to that?
10 hours before it shuts we’re done.

All smells a bit fishy.

My only remaining hope is that one of the clubs in financial difficulties gets desperate and we snap up a bagain like we did with Rafa.

It'll be opportunistic rather than the players we've actually identified that we need though.

Signings:

Gollini - backup will barely play
Gil - still young, would you honestly say he's a better player than Lamela currently?
Romero - quality signing, give you that one.
Sarr - won't see him for a year
Emerson - another good signing

Loan players coming back:

Skipp - he's been very good
Sessegnon - done nothing of note and looks very underwhelming

We have not replaced Bale and Vinicius and are still missing a creative CM.

Overall the window is pretty mediocre, you can't sugar coat it.

Gollini - Replaces Hart who barely played BUT Will likely play in the future and is a potential future number 1 over an aging Hugo Lloris
Gil - Maybe not better today than Lamela but Lamela wasn't starting every game, Gil takes his squad place with the potential to be better.
Romero - Quality
Sarr - Won't be here till next year but still a good addition, can't just write that off.
Emerson - Good

Skipp - Good and better than Sissoko
Sessengon - Has potential but sure, hasn't delivered enough.

Yes, we haven't replaced Bale and Vini but we aren't in a bad place and the signings we've made have been pretty good. Just seems like the recruitment was more with one eye on the future than all just right now which I'm not mad at, cause we already had a good base of a squad.

It's disappointing, yes. But we still just need to win all our remaining games to clinch the title. It's in our hands! COYS!!!!

3 wins from 3, a chance to make some big statement signings to really really build momentum. Nah, let’s just do what we always do. Take away the kids weve signed, we have basically signed a centre back and a probably a right back this window cos nobody else is going to start.

Cheques still need signing at the end of the day.
We should offer instalments, but add £10m to the price to make it more attractive to wolves - then levy can decide - pay more, small upfront or pay less more upfront?
Can’t have it both ways you little bald pr*ck

probably trying to be smart and seeing if he can get a little more off again!

Maybe but it's not the fee that's the issue.

Thanks for your insight. It sounds like cash flow is the issue which is kind of strange. I suspect that the big influx of cash that was referred to several weeks ago no longer is happening

"buyers market" as well ?

Apart from Sarr we haven't really made any hugely opportunistic signings for cheap fees. We've paid about market value for Romero, Gil and Emerson.
I doubt Gil or Emerson would have been let go had La Liga clubs not been struggling financially post-COVID.

Takes a step back when not much money is involved, gets really involved and precautious when big money is involved and upfront, it honestly makes total sense. Exactly what you'd expect from Levy.

It's so rare though mate. The only real hope of this is that it's one that we've already had contact about. Can't really see though. Only hope we have imo is someone coming in for one we want out like TN, and then maybe but it's quite a long shot.
