I honestly don’t buy this Levy nonsense, it makes no sense.
We’ve never agreed a fee or seemed to be close to getting Adama, now it’s definitely off it’s all Levy’s fault.
No don’t buy it.
Sounds like we was never going to pay the required fee all along.

I stand by my opinion that he would have been a good squad player, but one we'd ultimately be discussing how to shift in 2 or 3 years.
Of the same opinnion. I think a club has to think these days if a player doesn't work out will we recover what we spent.

Very disappointing to hear Levy's meddling again.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Traore deal, but would've happily traded Bergwijn and a tidy sum to bring him in if that was ever an option.

Bergwijn is OK but Traore would've offered us something completely unique, while also a massive backing of our new manager.

Fabulous, we just have to hope and pray now that neither Kane or Son pick up any injuries.

Great to see England have 3 WC qualification games now in 6 days. Oh and Calvert Lewin has withdrawn from the squad with Southgate refusing to draft in a replacement. Leaving uncapped Bamford the only other striker in the squad.

Kanes ankles will be well tested ?

Obviously confusing and frustrating that Levy would appoint the team he has only to step in and over-rule them on Traore and Bergwijn - though he has form for that, I think we all hoped it would be different this time.

Most concerning of all though is the diagnosis that we're creating enough chances, that really is so far outside his area of expertise and way beyond anything he should be a decider on.

I just don't understand why he is so incapable of learning from past mistakes, more fool me for thinking things might have changed I guess.

Obviously not but it is food for thought, as great and satisfying as beating City was has it stifled us long term?

Literally what happened last year as we just happened to lose to Everton which just happened to cause a bunch of business to be done?

The Goat post says it all. I’ve been skeptical of this new version of Levy since the managerial appointment farce, and it’s bearing out to be true. Why can’t the little bastard leave alone? He knows fuck all about football and just manages to piss off and isolate everyone around him
Believe goats when suits don’t believe when suits ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️ Everything is about personal narrative never based on anything else.

If you accept at the start that this is, and always will be the case, your Spurs related stress levels will decrease exponentially.

Stop stressing so much about things you have no control over whatsoever.
I have up stressing a long time ago.

Been on spurs forums over a decade and this is always the way. The same arguments are still ongoing.

Worst thing is now we’ve gotta wait another 6 hours for them to announce Emerson because nothing else is happening ffs

That is just good life advice.

We went from this morning "paying what was needed for Traore", to "too expensive" within a few hours. As far as I'm aware the fee didn't change.

Pretty much like the chairman.

Man, this is Brooklyn 99 and Levy is Jake Peralta. Funky Cold Medina.

Thank christ I wasn’t getting fooled this deadline.

We were never going to plug every hole we had. Overall a good window. Short one attacker and a creative midfielder. Average age of the squad has come down a ton which is great to see.
