Jeez. People are so desperate for a striker they're talking about signing Lambert?! Wow.
He had no pace to lose. He's still a good and wiley pro. Probably more than his age, he's just not enjoying his football at Pulis' snorefest party..That was 3 seasons ago though, and I remember reading how Soton fans thought he had lost a yard of pace in his final season.
To put it in to perspective that was the same season where Mason was on loan at Swindon
He's only scored one goal this season and that was a penalty.
At least his chairman is easy to deal with. Oh wait....Are some seriously suggesting Rickie Lambert could be the answer?
Well yes, one striker, Kane, 4 weeks to get one. No one here wants lambert I can assure you, but we will be desperate of Kane picks up and injury. We all hope he doesn'tJeez. People are so desperate for a striker they're talking about signing Lambert?! Wow.
The discussion concerned backup options up front. Personally I'd rather avoid signing players just for the sake of it, though we could do a lot worse than loaning in Lambert. We could sign BerahinoThat was 3 seasons ago though, and I remember reading how Soton fans thought he had lost a yard of pace in his final season.

That's about as glib as I can make the analysis; it's been happening every year for a while now and will happen again if we have too many players with 2000 minutes played before the end of January.Dude stop over analysing, we'll deal with the potential threat of burn out when it comes.
