Excellent news all the way around. Makes me wonder about the reports of Soldado wanting out, seems out of character if Poch still wants him here.

OK as promised……..Cabbages:

Signing Alderweireld means one Cabbage isn't happening. As far as i'm aware I could count the number of people who have named the other cabbage on one hand.

That's all you get i'm afraid. That is, until el source-o says its OK.
Ugh. I was just re-reading this, saw that last part about not many people guessing the other cabbage and got that bad, horrible sinking feeling that its Julian Green. Only like 1 or 2 people guessed him, he was born in germany, cabbage is green, and like a cabbage, he is not good. And he was also linked last year. Combine this with A&C saying we'd have a melt down when we find out...:(

God, I hope with all of my heart that I am wrong:nailbiting:

Jasper on SO

If Poch had his way Soldado would stay and Ade goes is what I heard. Toby not the DM solution . Chiriches' agents given permission to talk to clubs which they are. Ade won't feature at all, but we knew that.

Vlad wil be glad to hear we're not going to stand in the way of his big move to Chelsea.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Right, i'm off to have a poo

It would be nice if I returned to a few donations from the evening crowd.

I don't have much spare as it's only been a few weeks since the last donation, but I've donated an extra £4 to match the Bristol Scale type you'd hope to land on (y)

Might be Soldado wants to be playing rather than a back up, wouldn't blame him if he has got his agent to go and look at options back in Spain.

The reality is we need to get rid of bobby and ade and buy one top class central striker that can form a partnership with Kane and one top class wide forward who is good enough to start but also good enough to cover kane.

Then a DM and we are done

Why would Kane need a partnership with another striker - in a single-striker formation?

Can anyone think of an anagram or something from "Rapae" or "Brassicae" ?

There are two butterflies, the large white and the small white which are both known as the cabbage butterflies. Their most known names are Pieris Brassicae and Pieris Rapae. Pieris may be related to the grocer part also

Seriously, it's a cryptic not the fakkin Da Vinci Code

Lets hope Levy rediscovers the old magic of overruling the manager when it comes to deciding the fate of Poor Bobby.

QUOTE="Spurger King, post: 4667671, member: 15639"]Same here

Landon and Oscar were the only ones that really related to current footballers, in case anyone's wondering.

Of course as I was scrolling through the list it occurred to me that A&C/Rob would have needed an encyclopedic knowledge of Cabbage Patch doll names already in order to make that connection, which seems unlikely (though plausible in A&C's case).[/QUOTE]
