Replacing Suarez with 2 players who played Championship football 2 seasons ago a German who isn't rated in Germany and potentially Bony-a decent striker, but nothing more.

I wouldn't worry about their signings in the slightest. More concerned about up the road getting a player like Sanchez-genuinely world class.

Emre Can is one of the highest rated U21s in Germany so you are talking manure there. Bayer we're desperate to keep him and Bayern, who had a buy back clause that did not activate until 2015, did all they could to stop him leaving Bayer too.

We were tipped off about his quality/potential and his release clause by Sami Hyypia when he was fired. I can understand all your other points, although I disagree, but to nonchalantly state that Emre isn't rated in germany is just a flat out lie.

There is nothing reliable to suggest we're even interested in Bony. The few Journo's who've made the link are not ones with any links connected to the club and the 3 who are very connected haven't a word of any LFC interest in the player.

We have also had no reliable ITK about him either, or Ben Davies. Tony Barrett gave him a very fleeting mention in his article last night but that is it as far as anybody with reliable and trustworthy information goes.

Are you familiar with the term, jack of all trades, master of none?

And by the way, how's Yesil doing for you?

Just in case you want to know anything about any potential LFC move for Davies/Bony, you should keep an eye on these accounts:

Most Connected/reliable Journos:

Tony Barrett (TonyBarretTimes) on Twitter - The Times.
James Pearce (JamesPearceEcho) on Twitter - Liverpool Echo.
Chris Bascombe (_ChrisBascombe) on Twitter - Telegraph.
Andy Hunter (AHunterGuardian) on Twitter - Guardian.

ITKs:

Jay Riley (Jay_78_) on Twitter
Karl (Karlton81) on Twitter
Graeme Kelly (GraemeKelly1) on Twitter
Cheers for that.
Got me to thinking, I can't think of a Twitter account that I'd put on a reciprocal list for Tottenham (maybe di Marzio on the journo list?) That's probably a good thing (although no fun for us lot) and a credit to Levy for keeping the leaks to a minimum.

Lots of the ITK we have had seems to have come from the 'other club' this year...

Jovetic only made 11 league apparences, and City plays with 2 strikers.

It won't be Soldado, they took Mandzukic to replace Diego Costa.

I think that i am correct is sating that Spurs are more likely to play in more EL games than Citeh will play in the CL? That will leave the CC/FA Cups and the PL.

Having just three strikers (one of which is still generally unproven) just will not cut it given the number of games we will likely play and especially if it is the Clubs intention to contend with a top four spot. Add to that, the fact that Ade will likely be away on ACN duty then getting a quality fourth striker really is a no-brainer

Remy at a reported nine million would be the perfect fit, and can score goals at this level.

I'm still unsure why we have to discuss Liverpool signings and ITK in so many threads. Don't wish to be inhospitable but we have a General Football forum for that chat

Someone whore some juicy ITK now that Sanchez has been announced by the Goons. Jealous of that one and need some cheering up. Shame for them that Lamela will be better this season though ;)

Well, now that Arsenal got Sanchez and every single club that we are supposed to be fighting it out with is signing good players left right and centre who do you guys think we will sing? Ben Davies? Remy? Or dare I dream about Konoplyanka?

I'm not knee jerking but it does look like our rivals are spending heavily. We will struggle to keep in touch. 6th is firmly our position now and anything above will be a very good season

It's hard not to feel like our dream of establishing ourselfs in and arround the top four is a dream long gone by now. Arsenal buying top players again, Liverpool bursting their way into the top 2, United getting LVG and signing good players, Chelsea signing top players and City will probably buy everyone else of note.
