Tis good, and the ITK has been top notch, best it's been in bloody years to be honest with you.

On the money!

But, this is also Spurs, and whilst this isn't necessarily ITK, it's related to the recent player purchase and stadium announcement - this isn't an overnight transformation of our club, it'll take 2 years for the stadium to be built (3 years really if starting in the 2018 season), and then after realising that opportunity will take another few years, so lets say 6 years...

6 whole years before we can start using all of this.

Do Spurs fans have the patience for that, will we be mocked by every other fan because we'll now be saying, you wait until the stadium is ready... unlikely, so still be prepared for the mockery and abuse, that'll no doubt start as soon as we lose at home to West Brom this coming season.

;-)

(forever the optimist!)

I think it becomes very clear why we brought Poch to the club now. WE've not been spending much over the last few years and Poch is looking to be a build a team greater than the sum of its parts. He also develops the youth prospects which we seem to be producing and gives them game time. Seemingly a perfect match for our coming austerity. I think top 5 is probably the target at the moment with anything above over achieving. If we can get behind the youth and Poch as they work through this i'd still be excited.

We didnt get back into European football by buying established stars in the first place. The buying young hungry players from across Europe plan started in 2004/5 and actually led to some of the best years we've seen since the 80's.

Don't be such a downer no one thinks we've made it overnight but we have turned a corner on the path to brighter days.

What a day. Will be something else when NFL finally drops the news of hosting a Super Bowl in London.
Thats not going to happen any time soon - at least not here.

The average attendance for the last 10 Super Bowls is 75,437.

The lowest attended Super Bowl ever, was Super Bowl I - in 1967, with 61,946 - still more than the new stadium.

The new stadium would be the 72nd largest American football stadium in the US.

If London were to ever host a Super Bowl, it would be at Wembley.

I think we are jumping the gun here,
First we need to build the stadium & showcase Lane is a better & bigger venue for NFL. Then comes increased number of games. Somewhere in near future, some Franchise might come over to London. When that happens, we got to be first in the queue (I fear Chelsea will follow suit) to host the franchise. Then years down the line, when there is acceptance for a franchise outside US , then we can think about hosting the super bowl

Its a hard path ahead. Good thing is we have planned this really well. Now time for execution.

Little bit of a weird response, considering I highlighted about being a killjoy and that I should just enjoy it (same goes for the rating.

However, I wasn't qustioning the club and the philosophy, but more the fans patience, that is all.

On a personal level, I just can't stand the whole 'banter' stuff and really don't want to see a repeat of anything like that mind the gap stuff, we are still a long way off..

Still, all very exciting in the same

(and apologies to all for not posting about ITK in this thread, I'll leave it now).

Wow. Got to hand it to Levy. Loses out on a free stadium, dusts us off, and gets us the biggest stadium in London (complete with a shout out to 1961 and bigger than l'Arse) and connected to the richest league in the world. If that doesn't get him a couple of choruses of "one baldy midget" ringing down from the largest single tier stand in England then i don't know what would

From Gabe (from 12.45)

"NFL did their part exactly as agreed.

Fingers crossed THFC do their bit on time.

Wouldn't want to start the relationship with only one side hitting an agreed deadline.

We'll know in 20 minutes."

Sorry A&C for the off topic-ness...

You may see the pro-bowl at the new stadium, but you will most likely never see the Superbowl.

If London were to ever host the superbowl, it would definitely be at Wembley. They have a roof and they sit 90,000. The revenue it produces is insane, which makes a central location like Wembley more realistic. I live in NY, and after having the mess of a superbowl that was here, you need a massive stadium to host it, or atleast be able to convert the stadium in some way to hold over 65,000 people. Also, after having it in NY, there will be no doubt they will want either warm weather or a roof.

I just can't see the superbowl.

Regardless, a big day for the club. I am very curious what this does for selling purposes for the club. You have to imagine our value has increased significantly, and if ENIC were to sell, this has made it a sellers market.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the window, our back line is significantly stronger, and if Harry comes back scoring like he did last season, we are looking like a team no one will want to play. When Toby was in the Southampton team, they're form was significantly better. Hoping these signings ease Hugo's role.

Still hoping for a realistic finish of a tight push for 4th, which I would be very pleased with. God forbid people go for Poch's head this season and start the De Boer rumors to pair him with all of his old players.
