Well im currently feeling underwhelmed... i thought we were for targeting proving talent now as our next step up. I have been dreaming of us actually being able to buy experience now as i believe thats all we lack ( an experienced winner) but to be honest its beginning to look like the same old same old. Im even thinking was pochs (need to be brave statement) about his contract. And before all the bookeeper fans start im not meaning lets go buy like chelsea utd etc im meaning 1 experienced player

Which piece of itk are you referring to in regards to proven talent or experience exactly?

After the (be brave) and poch contract i assumed we were taken the next step up in the transfer market and with those figures experienced quality can be found. Our market was lower than that when we bought Dele. Why don't you save the outrage until the window has shut so we can evaluate it in full?

Two of our strongest links are with De Ligt and Martial, who very much fall into that price bracket. No ITK ever said the signings in that bracket were going to be experienced.

Mate... You do know this is one signing, right? Being bought as back up to Eriksen? I dont think that by signing Grealish it instantly means we're not going to be going after bigger targets... That's certainly not what I've drawn from the ITK anyway...

Mate... You do know this is one signing, right? Being bought as back up to Eriksen? I dont think that by signing Grealish it instantly means we're not going to be going after bigger targets... That's certainly not what I've drawn from the ITK anyway...

I never did get confirmation from any of the ITK about whether or not the window closes after Grealish is announced..so I can only take that silence as bad news

It will be the end of the season before we can even begin to understand if this was a good transfer window or not. Unless we sell eveyone and bring no-one in ofcourse.

Let's say last time you bought an automobile it cost you £20k, a real budget ride. You've come into some money, and now you're willing to step it up and spend £80k on a new luxury automobile, quadrupling your normal budget. However, this year's Aston Martin costs £155k. Even if you've taken the next step that doesn't mean you can afford it. Brave doesn't mean stupid!

...and where's the ITK saying we're not buying an experienced player?

I've only seen Herc say we've got to be smart with deals and we're after quality which maybe offset elsewhere to allow for said funds.
