Morning ITK-tards.

Quite a bit more to work with today so we'll jump right in with nedley, who, for the 25th day running asked........
Has POTL raised his head yet?
And at the 25th time of asking, success! Becuase Biz then posted this.....
I understand POTL has just posted a smiley face on COYS.
Bayern are in for nedley.....

Then POTL poo-pooed the Crouch leaving stuff.........
From POTL in the thread Crouch Leaving:
Noope. Next.
As he says.......Next.........

Which happened to be lekwip
L'Equipe says we're in for Makoun.
Personally, I don't believe this.........

Codspur then whored some more from POTL........
POTL Re Tarrabt
Will sign for QPR this week on a permanant deal.
Tarrabt. The new Stan Bowles.

Rebrab then cast our minds toward the Orient. No Fazza, not Leyton Orient.....
There's an interview with Harry on BBC saying we have a couple of irons in the fire but nowhere to signing anyone yet.
A couple of Irons in the fire...... Parker and Upson? Or should I be thinking Julian Clary?

hughy is ITK.........
You're all bastards.
Or perverts........
bashing off to ITK is quite acceptable....
But you always get let down on the vinegar strokes.......

One last piece of ITK
Roger Morgan regarding Pletikosa :Loan for the season agreed subject to medical this week. Maybe permanent in future.
Brownhead also agreed.......

In the papers today........

The Daily Mirror reckon that......
Harry Redknapp has revealed Spurs could spend cap their summer spending at £9m by targeting loan deals instead of buying players outright - with strikers Craig Bellamy [Manchester City] and Klaas Jan Huntelaar [AC Milan] still targets.

The Mirror also tell us about a great big tart complaining yet again about being called names.....
Former Arsenal and England defender Sol Campbell has hit out at the "idiots" who have branded him as fat following his move to Newcastle.

'Don't they know I just got married?' he said as he scratched his vadge. And he's got a point. Most women do put on weight after they get married.

And that's it for today.

Except for an update on yesterday's plea for donations which resulted in, well, nothing. Let's see if we can set a new record today then......

Daily Mail are saying Milan wanna swap Huntelaar for Gio!! Not sure myself I still think Gio could do a job for us (if 'arry can sort his head out)

Brownhead also said we're looking to gamble on the South African centre back Khumalo. I just can't see us taking a risk on him. Rangers look to be his most likely destination, and he's now injured and out of South Africas game with Ghana.

I'd like to hear something concrete on a young centre back like Cahill.

But where would Cahill fit in? We may sometimes be without Bassong, Dawson and King but he is unlikely-I would have thought- to leave Bolton to be fourth and maybe fifth choice. It's like when Ben Haim went to Chelsea, he didn't get any games.

If milan are punting huntelaar about why don't we just bid for him?

Great round up A&C.

Is Huntelaar still rated round these parts or is swapping Gio for him too much of a price to pay for someone who hasn't played in the PL before.

I personally feel that if true, Gio may be tempted with this one.

I am predicting a signing today.

I wouldnt go that far

...I still got the feeling that even Harry is frustrated with the market at the moment. But to be a patient and cunning might be the shrewdist (is that a word?) thing to do. I know that Harry is just delighted with the squad we have already though, so there is no panic.

I'm hoping Milner just F*** off to Citeh and we can get this party started. That would be the best signing today.

Interesting stuff from Ryantegan.

Huntelaar, and no mention of Gio............hmmmmmm.
The Cardozo stuff is good. I personally this he is a solid player who could do a great job for us, especially if we do play a formation that includes the lone striker role.

Don't really know much about Anthony Annan though..........anybody?

Honestly, I can't see us signing anyone for the first team, until after our CL qualifier.

How slow does it want to be? I've been stuck in limbo with my info as obviously the boys and more importantly Harry have been in the states. And for the past week my boss has been on a golfing holiday with his missus. (A bit inconsiderate when you consider its pre seaon )

Anyways, Collared him yesterday with hope that he might have a treasure trove of info, but no, not really.

He pretty much backed up what was said on here regarding the timings of when anything is likely to be done. There was us thinking that the Citeh game last season was important when really its gonna be more important that we win these play-off games. We seemed to have deals in place with clubs but everything is on hold. So frustrating!

Micah Richards is still very likely to join us from what I hear, its a similar sort of stand-off to the Corluka move. Everything bar the medical in that deal is Done and agreed. but yet we still wait for the green light.
And maybe its because of Citehs silly games we wont sign him and possibly Bellamy or anyone else from that club until after we play them 1st game of the season. We have enquired for SWP, Ireland and Onouha as well! Villa were offered all these in the Milner deal.

I think its safe to say that we have been knocked back by Fabiano and Forlan. Dzeko is someone we have asked to be kept informed over, but Harry knows that finacially he is out of our league at the moment. Hunterlaar (pre red tops stories today) I was told could be available for a loan at £3m with an option to make permanent at £9m. No mention of Gio though. That might just be a goer. However If we are lucky we might be able to see another player Harry wants tonight, Cardozo! Not sure who brought this up before but . I was told that he is someone we think we would do very well for us. He might just be pending qualification for the CL though.

Another new name I got given was Anthony Annan. Aparently he is a strong Midfield player at Rosenborg. Scott Parker is definately 1st choice there but he seems to be on the list of back ups.

Nothing earth shattering, just trickling along. Hopefully I can coherse some more in the next week or so.

who mentioned Cardozo before? I was given his name by my boss without questioning so that seems pretty solid.
