Gyan would be a good addition but i think he's off to Turkey aint he??

Maybe Harry will strike a deal?

I think Gyan would be worth a punt if we could do a swap with Crouch. Even just for the sake of shaking things up in striker department.

Cahill and one more striker please!

People reporting stuff from BBC, it seems like a lot of it is just twitter rumours. Can we try and keep it a bit more reliable in here please. ITK, SSN but not BBC reporting twitter.

Gyan looks a fairly typical Harry type player, but personally don't feel he is the quality that we need, and would not be that cheap.

I'd actually love to get Gyan in (for a reasonable fee), so here's hoping his transfer request has something to do with us!

Don't quite get all the negativity surrounding him throughout the window, remember his goal against England? Ah well, Cahill and Gyan and I can go to sleep a happy man!

Have we been linked with Gignac out of interest? Seen Marseille have said he is looking for a deal

Haha! West ham are such twats
From their OS:

"The club have reluctantly agreed to the transfer of Scott Parker to Tottenham Hotspur"

Do they need to add the reluctantly?

I think we should release the statement: "David Bentley has reluctantly agreed to join West Ham on a season long loan"

when he goes there later today...

Sat in Nice airport, waiting for my flight back to transfer madness. Just got some internet for the first time in a week and I see that we've signed Ade and noow Parker, sold nobody and been thrashed by City... What the hek?! Can I not leave Spurs for a week!?

I also just saw a tweet from Hudd about seeing an awesome player sneaking in the back of the training ground. Anyone know who that may be. I'm thinking Kaka less Gary Glitter! :)

Or as opposed to "We have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the sale of Scott Parker"?
That just sounds like they aren't too bothered. Look at it from their perspective. They've sold their star player so they have to say something along the lines of reluctantly selling him. They want to convince their fans that they tried to keep him, hence why Parker handed in a transfer request, because they wouldn't let him go otherwise.

I think you're reading too much into it

They're still ****s though

eddie.. he was pulling millions of legs in a very cruel fashion! Unless he was talking about Parker :S

Anyone else think how bizzarre it is that Parker's signed and announced BEFORE 10:59:99pm? What's got into Levy?

Parker is a great signing. Cahill will be brilliant, presume Bassong will be leaving if thats the case, maybe as part of the deal?

Huddlestones Twitter comment was a hoax. It was to wind up the media :)

Welcome back, you've missed lots lol.

£5m for Parker, whilst selling Palacios for £8m, represents excellent business. Upgrading central midfield plus gaining £3m, win win!

I'm hoping the effort that Parker will put in on the pitch will shame Modders into putting shifts in again when this window shuts...

To be fair to Mods he has only played one game this season and nobody played that well against city so no need to be shames etc. For all we know he will be MOM in our next game. Good news if he stays but i would have taken £40m and spent it on the new stadium personally - cutting down the inevitable debt.

Parker is good news and with enough time for one more i think (hopefully 2). Cahill or Samba looking the most likely but i'd love a striker too. Looking forward to a curry infront of SSN with the ipad on here. Come on Cahill & Hunterlaar!!!
