As a fellow Bristol-dweller that ventures down to Ashton Gate on the odd occasion, I can safely say that Rossi is definitely better than any forwards currently residing at Bristol City.

I'm not massively enthusiastic about the possibility of signing Rossi, but I'll reserve my judgement on Redknapp and Levy until well after the window has ended (and by well after, I mean the end of the season).

On current form i can safely say im better than any forwards currently at bristol city and i havent put my boots on for a few years and i played right back!

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...m-told-to-pay-up-for-Klaas-Jan-Huntelaar.html

TOTTENHAM have been told by AC Milan to come back with a better offer for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar after they refused to let him move on loan.

And Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to sanction an £11million permanent move for the Dutch striker.
But the North London club could lose Robbie Keane, who is in talks with Celtic about a second loan move to Glasgow.
love how they say we could 'lose' keane on loan, surely we'd be 'giving' him away now losing him lol

Don't see why I have to rate every single player we're linked with? The attitude that some of you have is that we should bring in anyone as atleast it's a signing.

I meant it as a joke, Evey time i have seen you talk about a player were linked with you always seem to have a problem with it... Was just my phailed attempt at humor i guess

What makes me laugh is when people kick up a fuss about a player who we haven't even signed

It's all rumours at this point people

I've seen some funny Milanese press that Muntari is part exchange for Bale that would really chear people up!
Also press saying Spurs still in for KVH which despite what some say would make sense to me.

Fuck me silly and call me sanjeev.

Ive just read the last 15 or so pages of this thread for the last hour (not solely, ive been doing other things to, not that sad  )

What a transfer window. Im not so sure with all the negativity surrounding Muntari. People were more then happy to have had him when we were linked with him last time, but now we are CL qualifyers, only cristiano ronaldo or messi would be good enough for spurs.

Anyhow, id much prefer Diarra, but I dont think Muntari would be a bad signing.

Rossi I like too, but again would prefer Fabiano. But wouldnt be unhappy if we signed rossi - I rate him.

I reckon Bale + £10m would be about right!

Well I'm hoping Levy is doing all he can to ensure our options are between Fabiano and Huntelaar, and that he's prepared to bite the bullet and sign one of them.

I've really warmed to Levy as a chairman, and will never forget the good things he has done for us, but I don't have complete faith in him when it comes to the transfer window. Yes I know all about Modric etc..., but I still wake up screaming at the memory of our humiliating 'Berbatov out...Frazier Campbell in (on loan..with no option to buy)' fiasco.

This isn't just a transfer window...it's a 'Champion's League status' transfer window.

Muntari doesn't improve anything though. Would be a really needless transfer especially when he's not even better than Jenas who can barely make the matchday squad as it is.

Diarra won't happen imo, Jose wouldn't have started him tonight if he was intending to flog him, him and Xabi Alonso are their best CM partnership imo, Jose isn't silly.

Rossi I like, still very young and a lot of time to improve. Quick, technically good, finishing improving all the time.

..because everyone on here has seen Muntari play so much football. Why is it then that people were more then happy to have wanted him back in January, but 8 months on, he isnt good enough.

Mourinho clearly saw something in him. Im not for a minute suggesting he is an upgrade, or that he will be a good signing. But I feel people are jumping on the bandwagon and going with the popular consensus of opinion.

He definetly isnt as bad as some are making out. If the rumours are true, clearly harry thinks he is the 3rd best option available, after parker and diarra. ..and I know for a fact harry definetly has more football knowledge and experience (having seen him train on a daily basis) then fans on a spurs forum ;-)

Inter are live on ESPN every week, it's hardly Galatasaray.

Muntari adds nothing to us, keep Jenas - there you go, I've just saved us from a lot of wasted time, effort and money and ended up with a superior footballer.

All else being equal between to players (hard to be sure, but let's say that's the case with Jenas--Muntari) I'd rather Harry worked with the one he wants.

update from what ive been told:

cudicini - could still go to middlesbrough as pletikosa should be sealed before the deadline. with our 3 keepers being gomes pletikosa and alnwick (as he counts as a homegrown player) however with gomes getting injured were not sure about letting cudicini go.

hutton- interest from both birmingham and sunderland. struggling to agree a fee with both clubs. may go out on loan if we cannot agree a fee to get him off the wage bill. also could be offered to villa in part exchange for young.

naughton and walker- both available for loan many clubs interested. Naughton the more likely to go out on loan as harry is impressed with walker in pre season and training. Will listen to cash offers for naughton tho.

bentley - may also be offered to villa. hughes interested at fulham for a loan deal.

o'hara - unlikely to leave as he wouldn't pass a medical. perhaps may leave on loan but very unlikely. been offered to west ham for parker.

jenas - stoke really want him. jenas would rather stay. may also be offered to villa for young. will only leave if we can get someone in to replace him.

rose - many interested in a loan deal. newcastle and pompey both want him. like jenas will only leave if another midfielder/left sided player comes in

keane - deffo off. he wants to go to celtic. been offered to villa too. newcastle and sunderland interested in loan deals.

gio - attracting lots of interest from abroad. club want to give him one last season however if a good bid comes in he could leave. heard he was also offered as a sweetner in the fabiano deal (on loan)

fabiano - struggling to agree a fee with sevilla at the moment but he could still join as he is very interested to come and harrys 1st choice

parker - west ham don't want to sell but if the price is right he will be a spurs player.

diarra - mourinho has changed his mind and wants to keep him. will only come if we put in a big bid.

muntari - is an alternative for parker and diarra. harry rates him from his pompey days and does not see it as a gamble as he has worked with him before. also been told hes going for a good price and could be one of harry's bargain signings.

young - harry really wants him. cant agree a fee though villa asking stupid money. we have offered around 14 million cash and also offered them cash and player deals involving hutton, jenas and keane. this one could happen on deadline day. will go to the wire.

rossi - being looked at as an alternative to fabiano and hes going for around 8-10 million

KJH - trying to get him on loan with a view to a permanent deal however he looks very likely to join schalke on a permanent deal for around 12 million euros.

n'zogbia - wigan desperate to get rid. he is the back up option. been told we will put in a bid if we cant get our preferred choices. sunderland willing to offer more money than us though.

doubt i will post again this window as i have pestered my source for alot of info tonight! if he tells me anything more will post it guys!
