Surely an organisation the size of THFC with a sizeable PR department would want to be involved in this ITK phenomenon or whatever you want to call it. I like to think that, even if JJ is a controlled leak, he is still just a single person and not a multitude of people. Helps me sleep at night.

I share your suspicion. It is a way to fire up the fans getting them ready to dole out their cash on shirts and other souvenirs when pre-season training starts.

This comes up about once a month, usually about POTL, but more recently about JJ. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Donna or someone in her department, though. Hence the lack of direct comments about AVB.
