Well well well, first itk to say we're still in for Maddison. Interesting.

with that info we are kinda in a rock and a hard place. Newcastle going hard for mads, they will eventually crack and give him the wages that would make him an idiot for not joining if that makes any sense. I wonder if that triggers us to just say fuck it and go in for him, or let him know to bide his time another couple of weeks before we can go all in on him. Or maybe it's all a smoke screen for zaniolo but hey im just gonna enjoy the ride and get myself pumped for saturday

Cost aside- if it’s between Maddison and Zaniolo, it has to be Maddison we prioritise. Homegrown and PL proven, with exactly the skill set we don’t currently have. I suppose the only concern is that who rotates with Kulusevski, given that’s what Zaniolo would likely do. Tricky

Great to hear that we are actively looking at a further creative/attacking signing and that Conte wants it. Another building block in our squad improvement and flexibility for the season ahead.

This plus a successful clear out would be a great window. A last minute Bastoni purchase would be a Carlsberg window for us.

Looks like its not that Conte doesnt want him but just prefers other options at the moment. Pretty big difference

Thanks for the ITK Trix made my visit here all worthwhile. Agree with most that we do need to add some extra creativity to the squad so one of these would be good. Options is what we need in the squad not just two similar players in every position
