No, because there's no link whatsoever and you can't have a thread for every PL striker that could plausibly fit.

I would advise not to guess, as it won't end well for the thread, but certainly don't have designs on taking any team's star striker regardless - the ITK doesn't fit that scenario.

We obviously need an extra forward because we've seen the devastating effects injuries can have on our season but why people can't appreciate we already have a plan B going from: Moura Kane Son to Moura Son Bergwijn I don't know. We need a plan C and the club isn't going to spend a big fee on it.

Would be surprised if a LB is that high up a priority given we still have other issues in squad after a backup striker. Plus José was so vocal about how important Davies is to the system and also the emergence of Cirkin as well.
This window seems like a pragmatic one, fill the main holes in squad and make do after that so that's why I just can't see LB being that high up the list.

Likely they need cash to cover other deals so they may have wanted Doherty but assume they need to sell more than AMN to raise enough cash to cover existing transfers and new ones. Don't forget last season they bought players on really extended terms so those costs have to be met as well

The scum over committed on other things is great news if it is due to PEA and Ozil- long may Ozil stay there robbing them all the way

Beyond Aurier, I don’t think it’s a given we’ll shift Rose, Foyth and TN for a number of complicated reasons. I think TN is likely to become an albatross for us, a luxury item that none else wants or can afford. I’m certain he’ll be with us at the end of the window. The only thing we can hope for is an upturn in his attitude and application, either that or he becomes the ultimate piece of deadwood. I’d love to be wrong by the way- nothing would give me greater pleasure than one of you rubbing my nose in it when Levy flogs him and reinvests in the squad but I just can’t see it happening which makes dragon’s ITK all the more concerning

Beyond Aurier, I don’t think it’s a given we’ll shift Rose, Foyth and TN for a number of complicated reasons. I can see offers for rose nearer the end of the window. Teams know he is available, but he is probably not anyone’s first choice LB option. Also helps them get him for a lower fee.
