Werner to Chelsea tooDisagree.
Was Jesus brought to Man City as back up or to provide Augero with competition.
It was the latter.

BothDo we really lack a target man or players who can find a target man ?
MD hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet. If all goes to plan it will be tomorrow. ??
Who’s reading things so literally? I guess some people see every post without a grain of humour. Oh wellAll dragon posted was something that was blatantly obvious, that now we’ve sorted our two biggest holes and brought balance to the firsts, the next important issue to address as sorting out some depth up front. Doesn’t mean it’s not been looked at all this time, or that we’ve not had any formal discussions, only that it’s not been as much of a priority.
Typical SC to read into one solitary word in a post which is probably meaningless given the general grammatical rollercoaster ITKs subject is to.
TN ‘may’ prove more difficult to shift than one can imagine. Will not share here why, as it will get out everywhere. Do not get too excited on the target man we may end up landing. He can definitely do a job. Not Troy Deeney. Forget any strikers from Bournemouth. We won’t be paying those kind of figures. Neither, whiist I am at it, can I see anyone paying 25m for Wilson.
It’s probably subtly implying “will” rather than “may”Can someone smarter than me explain why may is written in inverted commas?
Is there subtle meaning here, a cryptic undertone that eludes me? Am I reading far too much into it or is nobody else thinking hard enough?

Actually, we do have both. Trouble is, he’s one player. Both
No I was referring to Michael Dawson.I assume this is referring to Doogie Howser MD? Who said that Jose doesn't like youth?
We're not gonna get competition for Kane for anything less than big money. But what we can do is ensure we've got someone who provides something a bit different and will ensure we're not toothless when we're without Kane. If we can't get competition, then a good backup is far far better than nobody.Disagree.

Outstanding post sir. Kudos ????So let me get this straight. We know it is going to be a MAJOR challenge to attract suitors for Ndombele because it is already public knowledge that:
1. Ndombele has massive fitness issues and is more likely to run to fat, than to run to support his defence...
2. He has a serious attitude problem, and cannot be bothered to put in the necessary grind in training or getting to peak fitness. Both Poch, who wanted him, and Jose, have made it clear that he is no way near ready to compete at the highest level fitness wise
3. Despite the club making a huge investment in him, as our most expensive acquisition ever, his entourage has been agitating for a move for the last 6 months
4. He has contracted covid 19 (clearly not his fault and I wish him a full and speedy recovery of course, but it certainly doesn't make transferring him any easier over the next few weeks)
but on top of all of this, we are now to understand that there is some OTHER reason that will make him hard to shift, which hopefully won't come out ?!?.. I need to lie down
Probably UnitedIt's over Twitter about van de beek
Well, as long as it’s not Toby, I’m excited to find out the news.Ajax? Possibly something both ways! Not 100% sure. I am posting as don’t want to be commenting after the event-if (A BIG IF!!!) news breaks
