Anyone watch the draw for the Group Stages of the Champions League? Of course you did!

Usually it's an hour or so of unbridled tedium as some suit explains the workings of the draw to a captive audience who are all sitting there with neutral expressions on their faces which fool nobody, you just know they want to scream 'just fucking get on with it' but this time it was different. This time we were there. And we found out that the Champions of Europe are coming to the Lane!

Sounds great doesn't it? The Champions of Europe will be playing at White Hart Lane. GET.IN.THERE.

On with the ITK..........

According to Pablo, Chrissy Hughton used his speed dial and called WHL...........

mr robbie keane..i don't know if he will pull it off.
If he takes him, i'll pull him off :shifty:

Then The Goat took time off from his Feta franchise

Not from one of our usual sources but we're hearing about an 'unusual' amount of activity at WHL and that a driver was despatched to collect a player for talks. That's all we have right now and we'll update when we receive more.
We've had these before so please take with a pinch of salt.
This info was borne out further on........

Not content with one piece of info, The Goat then fired a double broadside with this.........

Despite reports today we're still in for Suarez and the player is eager to come. Ajax will sell for the right place...
Everyone sells for the right price :)

Barnes Spurs then told us who The Goat's car might have been collecting...........

little update - been told that Diarra has been in London today for talks and Huntelaar has been at Spurs tonight, may get announced tomorrow as a loan with an option to buy
Just to say I have been going on to my source about how spurs always sign players on a Friday and i do hope he was passing on in good faith although i cannot be completely sure
Anyway thought i would share
Could today really be the day?

Rebrab then posted this and yes, i've got eyes like a shithouse rat.............

Late post here, wonder if it will miss the sharp eyes of A&C but Huntelaar was made available for purchase (not transfer listed, but signals put out) at the start of the transfer window, and we have offered to loan him but it is dependent on whether AC can sell him as they want the funds - it is also, obviously, dependent on if we can get someone better and if we can get one of our front four out to leave space. If we sell one of our front four, and AC struggle to sell Huntelaar, we are certainly interested in him and I would expect us to bring him in. Has it hit that time yet where AC have decided that they aren't going to sell him so they should put him out on loan and get a replacement? I think it may well have.
Diarra - I don't know about talks in London, but he has spoken to Harry today as I posted earlier.

re:Barnes Spur's ITK
This could be very accurate and very good ITK. It fits with the situation, and how I would expect it to develop from the snippets I have heard. However, I haven't heard the necessary information on KJH or indeed Diarra to state how close we are to confirming a deal - but if things have progressed as anticipated then it could well be at the stage where deals are ready to be completed.
We're really getting to the business end of the summer now, the clock is ticking and it's all bubbling along nicely. I can see mass suicides if we don't sign anyone

In the papers today we are told that.......
Tottenham are in talks with AC Milan over bringing Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to White Hart Lane in a season-long loan deal. The move will include the option to buy at the end of the spell, with the sum of £12m thought to be the asking price.
And that Chris Hughton's phone call might have done the trick.....
Newcastle and West Ham are interested in signing Tottenham striker Robbie Keane on loan before the transfer window shuts next Tuesday.
And that's it for the ITK.

Oh and before I go..............

Q. Which sexual position produces the ugliest children?
A. Ask your mums

Some newly weds turn up at hotel and ask for the honeymoon suite. The receptionist asks do you have reservations?
The bride replies "I'm a bit worried about taking it up the arse"

Until Monday....................Keep whoring!

Interesting info about KJH. Do we have any info about how this will affect the Fabiano deal? Will we only get one of them?

KJH and Huntalaar would do me fine. I honestly don't see the point of unsettling the squad with too many last minute deals. I fancy they might both be loan deals.

Great round up A&C, but I am a little dissapointed in your paper round up, that I havent even got a mention, seeing as one of my quotes was lifted from here yesterday about the Champions League draw by the Evening Standard.

I'm not sure that having 2 Huntelaars will do us any favours, I think 1 might be enough mate

I'd like to see us do something this window, even though I'm happy with the squad, it wouldn't be a Spurs transfer window without last minute deals being rushed through on the eleventh hour.

Yup, I think getting in both KJH AND Huntelaar would be immense!

Also said KJH on loan in...That was my opinion.
However, i would discard Benzema...although PL teams like Arsenal/Man U/Liverpool and French teams would be interested. That's ITK!!!
GDS/Jenas - loan out or sell - ITK
Keano - Sell = obvious IMO

Oops meant to say i wouldn't discard Benzema...

Very interesting indeed. :)

I suppose it is always handy to have a spare but has cloning technology advanced sufficiently?
