We’ve known he’s now involved since the manager search concluded though. Trix I believe said that things might look positive at the start but long-term didn’t like the outlook.

Have we used him much with the incomings so far?

I know we are panicking a bit. Told to hold tight, and don’t follow everything media saying, as they been fed a spin?
appreciate it herc. hard not to panic given the history of our transfer market habits, but i’ll try my best!

Wolves can whistle as much as they like. Speak to Mendez.
I think as soon as the Ronaldo situation gets cleared up this will be next on the agenda for him, I’d expect some more movement here when that happens

So now we're waiting for a transfer that has nothing to do with us to go though before we can complete a deal?

All these shenanigans by Mendez are making me feel very uneasy. If he's trying to move one of his players on so that he can replace him with another one of his own players, that's got to be very close to unethical.

I may be in the minority in that I am not panicking.

Any signings we make make won't be playing on Sunday anyway, so in my mind there's no need to rush them through. Patience is the key as clubs will begin to panic the closer the deadline approaches.

Monday and Tuesday are gonna be fun!!

That’s literally his entire MO. Why do you think Doherty was replaced by Semedo?

We're at peak brinkmanship time. Keep squeezing as much out of a deal as possible, even if we know we'll ultimately do the deal at what is being asked if necessary.

Why rush? Literally no advantage to signing a player today v 11.59pm on deadline day. They won't play Sunday and it's an international break after that. Plenty of time to acclimatise before the next game. It's a buyers market and deadline day is like an additional card in the deck for the side with the upper hand as teams get desperate.

I'm as desperate as anyone for players but for completely irrelevant and irrational reasons.
