This makes sense, but we have been here before. And also, more importantly, what is achievable in the summer is probably proportional to what we achieve this season!

This is why people are bit edgy imo. If we were languishing in 7th place then yes, fair enough, do it in the summer but we're not. We have an incredibly great chance of top 4 this season IF we get just a few decent players in. Next season with managerial changes and big spending of other clubs top 4 may not be as easy regardless of who we get. Plus it'll be easier luring players with CL football than it will without it.
