I guess that's good news, especially if the signings come this month (better yet, this week!).

The stadium has seemed destined for next season for some time now. Hopefully we'll be able to sue Tyco/Mace to fill the summer warchest with funds! :D

I think what upsets me the most with this stadium news is that, for me there was probably I'd say 12-14 defining players of this current era and now 3 of them will likely not play for us at the new stadium when it opens. Those being Eriksen, Dembele and Alder and yeah it just sucks.

Hope The Goat is right with getting at least 1 more in but 2 would be great, provided they have the potential to fight for a 1st team place. Sick and tired of squad fillers.

Oh and £10m for Janssen? I know the market has gone mad but can't see anyone paying that much. Might get that if he goes out on loan and does well but can't see it myself. If he ain't going to play, then just get rid as paying wages.

Typical Levy, sell high but buy low!!

I really hope the players are midfield maestro and forward. With the confident one being the maestro.

Personally think the sooner we get into the stadium the better even if it were for the end of the season so find that disappointing. If we manage to stay in the top 4 regardless then I understand those wanting the fanfare at the start of next year.

It’s unbelivable that we’re going to be a year late. Presumably we had penalty clauses and insurance.

They are only delaying the stadium announcement to avoid full ST refunds, monthly refunds means the money stays in the coffers longer. Will be interesting to see if all this affects next years uptake. They were scratching around for the final season ticket sales iirc

I genuinely have no idea who the front runner is to be the one we are confident of having been linked to all and sundry in the press and the majority of the ITK being to say nothing in the rumours

A mate of mine works at the stadium (on the lighting) and they were taken into a meeting late last week to be told everything has to be ready for 16th March (the Palace game). They were told pretty much that will be the first game. I am resigned to it being next season though!

So in for 2, confident on 1, probably end up with 0...

10million for Jansen is a steal for someone, I'm sure he would improve with game time in another league.

With Dele out until March adding to our absentees list, let's hope the ones we're confident on start getting somewhere quick

Nah there is no player available that can improve us. As all the top 20 players in the world are in our team.

Anyway its good to hear that we're confident about making at least one signing this window. Two would be unexpected considering our squad size at the moment.

Its better to expect no one to avoid the disappointment as we were confident to make 2 and 3rd was also possibility in the summer

With Dele out until March we need someone to give us more depth, although if we're out of both domestic cups by this time next week I suppose that takes some of the pressure off, although I'm sure Poch would rather be in.
