The way his motivation yoyos from abject nothingness to sudden manic dedication and back again is the exact same problem I faced, symptoms of something that went undiagnosed and untreated for the vast majority of my life (by the time it was, I was older than he is now!)

I got by on talent and occasional small, concentrated, bursts of productivity - until I suddenly hit a brick wall where that wouldn't be enough anymore.

I was earlier in his time here I suggested this and was absolutely slaughtered but I really do see a lot of my own troubles in him and hope he sorts it out eventually for himself even before the club.

What was the diagnosis, if you don’t mind sharing?

I really like the look of Sarr.

Reminds me of a old school top class box to box midfielder, you don't see too many these days as most play with 3 midfielders and they all seem to need to be a specialist at a specific thing.

Almost reminded me of the early 2000's when most teams in the Premier League played 4-4-2 and both centre mids were expected to do a bit of both defending at attacking. Even though one would be slightly better at defending at the other slightly better at attacking, both were competent to a degree at both.

Mixture of Gerrard and Yaya for me. Technically brilliant for sure atleast.

I was trying to think who he reminded me of as a young player, so thanks. I don't want to put the kybosh on the lad but fuck me, he looks like a real player already. Come on you Metz!!!

The Traore stuff is very real he wants to come , nuno wants to partner him with son and Kane badly , par also supports

we are talking with wolves

the 3 deals I have confidence in are this , sarr with him going back on loan and tomasu , we rate tomasu very highly we think he has a high ceiling so I believe it will get done

I’d suggest any more than this depends on us shifting the Tanguy / aurrier / sissoko

Many thanks. The probable addition of Traore worries me greatly. According to Ally Gold, he has only 13 assists in the last three years, and one of those seasons, he provided 9 (when Jimenez was playing). That's absolutely useless and for a possible £40 million...? Please God, no.

Yeah, we could really do with some midfield options.

Pray that someone comes in for Sissoko and Ndombele ??

He's getting so very close to spelling Tomiyasu correctly. What will happen first - we sign him, or D1 gets it right? Exciting week ahead!

Looks like Sarr is already done withim on loan back to Metz, so that leaves Traore and Tomyiasu, I was really hoping we would get in another striker too. Maybe getting Traore in also means that Ajax could sign Bergs as they have been publicly vocal about him.

I can see deal is slowly taking shape for Tomiyasu as per D1... Its only dotting with a i and adding a y to go
