We are alongggg way away from when val yid said we were going to cough up big for a striking option as not qualifying for top 4 is not an option. What has happened in a week ?
I reckon most had heard of Martinez before the links but who tf had heard about Vlahovic?
Herc with the "WTF" rating
You have to remember things change. Sanchez looked like a Def out a week or so ago, that now looks to have changed. We wanted another CB to play as first choice. Now I'm not saying that's def changed because I haven't heard it has, but it does look like he's staying now which will have a knock on effect somehow to what we are planning.I trust Trix over this guy so more like 4 or 5
According to different ITKs. As far as I am aware, Trix and Herc haven’t changed their numbers. Different people have different contacts and hear different things at different times from different people. Unless one of them is Paratici or Levi…We went from 4-5 in to 2-3, we will finish with 2 minor improvements in plus some random loan
good old Tottenham Hotspur
Wish we could replace players as quick as we decide a player is worthy of starting 11 ? (although personally I have faith in sanchez)You have to remember things change. I assume you are referencing Sanchez...so who said we have decided he is a player worthy of the starting XI, other than you?Wish we could replace players as quick as we decide a player is worthy of starting 11 ? (although personally I have faith in sanchez)
Although Walker-Peters had a similar first game of the season…Sanchez and Tanganga might have changed some plans for the defence.
Indeed, could very well have.Sanchez and Tanganga might have changed some plans for the defence.
Spending less on the defence should free up more cash for the midfield and strikers. No?….oh,ok.Sanchez and Tanganga might have changed some plans for the defence.

And a very good Copa America and weeks of intensive training with a new coach. On one good game ?
Sanchez is not a Dier imo, there is a very decent player in there. Strikes me as a confidence player. Could be wrong of course lolSanchez and Tanganga might have changed some plans for the defence.
Things can change yes but if we start basing our transfer strategy on one good performance from a player that has been hot and cold for 4 seasons, then we're in big trouble. If Winks pulls out a 10/10 performance vs Wolves will we decide to keep him too?You have to remember things change. Sanchez looked like a Def out a week or so ago, that now looks to have changed. Personally I think they’re two players who at worst will be great squad players, and over time, even over the course of this season, could break through as more regular starters, same as Gil. Sarr especially considering what our midfield looks like, and he honestly had a better season last year than Camavinga, Aouar, Caqueret, Soumare, Renato Sanches and other Ligue 1 midfielders who a lot like/have already moved. And this is without even starting 20 games! A more proven winger with longer term past production would be nice, but I’d rather have Kvarstskhelia than someone like Adama for example. As long as a proven striker comes in, that’s the most important I think anyway.Pape Sarr and Kavartshkeila taking up 2 of the 3/4 is erm, concerning.

We need to be ruthless and get rid of those that have let us down time and time again.
