I can completely see Lamela and Bale in the same team and am still very much hoping it happens! Would be dynamite.

IMO if Bale stays we won't be signing Lamela.

Add in halilovic as Bale's future replacement

Not to pick out your comment but the idea of a "replacement" has gone a bit wild in here. It seems to mean all kinds of things.

My take is that we don't really replace but we do keep getting (and losing) quality players. Did we replace Carrick? I don't think so--he played in a particular way. Same with Berba, VDV, and king and Modric. All great players, but not really replaced. Bale won't be replaced either if/when he leaves. But we should be sure our attack is strong no matter what.

Would much prefer Lamela over Willian, better player now, scores more and will become one if the worlds best in a few years.

Really don't rate Willian and hope we don't go anywhere near him for £27m.

Perfect signing for Liverpool , overpriced and overrated.

For me, Coentrao, Lamela, halilovic (for future), a cb and if we keep bale then we could challenge for the title.

If bale goes, I'd pay £30m for Benteke (different position but he'll score 20+ goals and Lamela, Lennon, Chadli & Townsend offer enough cover for the wings & provide goals.

I would agree with the exception of a lb if BAE goes which seems likely.

However, I do pigging love the excitement that comes with a new goal scoring wing forward type!!! Let's buy them all! (I'm being serious!)

If Andre's stance is Bale is staying and we're believing him on that front; why are people saying we won't sign any more players? He has reiterated today and on several other occasions we are looking to strengthen further and buy more players.

If we got Lamela and Willian, and Bale stayed I think Siggy would be off sharpish
