Yesterday ITK was pretty slim and I thought I ought to congratulate you on somehow managing to stretch two snippets of info to almost 20 pages. Until I realised that it's pretty much the same conversation every day, wether we get ITK or not. Ad bloody nauseum.

Some of you seriously need to get laid. If that isn't a possibility then at the very least go knock one out whilst reciting formation talk or the suitability of some striker or another to the EPL.......

On to the ITK........BBLG got wind of an eavsdropped conversation which happened when Harry met Levy.........
Jermain Jenas isn't injured, he sulked his way out of a place on last nights bench.
Although by all accounts the fake orgasm scene wasn't too convincing

Ackie then posted this..........

Hi...Some info for you all. This is not opinion as someone suggested last time. I have been PM Ever for few weeks now.
We are closing in on a French - i have been saying that for weeks.
My contact knows agent and they called Hodgson to Liverpool successfully as well as Liverpool interested in Cole. This info i sent 6-8 weeks ago.
They are now saying Dos Santos will probably leave as well as Kuyt (liverpool) to join Italy.
I don't know if the French is Gallas, Sessegnon or Diarra...or Benzema...i dunno but they have said and maintain that we are looking for French.
They have said Huntelaar a probability too.
Arry doesn't rate Pav and want to offload him. Dunno but probable that Fabiano is the replacement! However they did say that Arry wants British players and Cole and Bellamy didn't come to us.
This is the transfer circle: Milner to Man City. Keano to Villa. Jenas to Italy or another PL. Young to Spurs. Bentley got injured when he would have been part of the merry go round.
Here's the interesting bit. Kaka to Chelsea...and suggestion that Anelka to Spurs IF Kaka comes to Stamford Bridge.
Which was by far the most interesting post of the day.

I'm too early to bring you much papertalk although this one does appear.......
Tottenham will make a £15m bid for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano only if they qualify for the group stages of the Champions League. Even then the Brazilian's £90,000-a-week wages may prove a stumbling block.
The Mirror are still running with the Gallas story
Harry Redknapp has stepped up his bid to pull off a controversial deal for William Gallas.
Wheeler dealer Redknapp is determined to strengthen his squad, especially after Tottenham’s Champions League defensive horror show against Young Boys.
Former Arsenal skipper Gallas, now a free agent, is understood to be “very interested” in moving to White Hart Lane.

Milner's move to Man City was also completed yesterday so previous ITK on everything hinging on that being completed should now kick in. Although what effect Villa not having a manager will have on things is hard to say.

In other news Calvin Klein's new perfume "Come to Me" is no longer being sold in Essex, following user complaints that it "doesn't smell like come to me"

Hopefully, today will bring a lot more ITK. :shifty:

Thanks for the round up - an impressively early posting - can't sleep? Is this an omen for an ITK filled day to come?

DL, do or do not, there is no try

We need a much better centre back. I think Gallas could do a decent job for us.

The Fabiano/Capel bit would die today I think. They're both cup tied after their game against Benfica

If we do sign Fabiano and he is cup tied, I think Levy has made an unforgivable mistake. It maybe that the numbers just did not add up without CL revenue, but he should have found a way to give Redknapp that touch of class he needed in the final third earlier in the summer.

Braga, you mean. And if Braga were to put Sevilla out, Fabiano and Capel could still play for us in the CL, assuming we beat Young Boys.

daniel you or any of us have no way of knowing whether it was Levy's choice or in fact Fabiano's decision to wait till after the CL qualifiers

Cant see much happening until after next weeks CL 2nd legs are done, which sucks as we should have got players in before hand to help us get there

I don't think many players think like that these days to be honest. What's of far more importance to them and their agent is the noughts on the salary offer, and especially at the age of 29, the length of the contract.

Its a bit risky to wait after CL.
Agree that qualifications would mean more money and sponsors...but its a risky game surely to wait.
Perhaps the top players that HR is looking at wants CL...but players like Young would just command a high wage IMO.
Perhaps it would be a happy friday tomorrow...here's hoping.;-)

Most of the ITK names that have appeared on here have 1) moved elsewhere, 2) got cup tied or 3) committed themselves to new contracts. With a shortage of cash in the system we're having problems moving out players; Keane, Jenas, O'Hara, Hutton. 12 months ago these were collectively worth c£30m. Today I doubt we'd get more than £5m for any of them.

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that we're not going to see much change in the squad, hopefully I'll be wrong and HR will spring a surprise signing. But if we can get Gallas, priority should be to freshen up the strike force, even if it means taking a hit on Keane and Huttons transfer fees to offload them.

This is only opinion but I'd be pretty sure Keane's staying now MON has left Villa. I have a sneaking suspicion that Pav is refusing to talk to other clubs as well which leaves us a bit snookered. I'd still be in favour of bringing in a 5th striker and not playing the unwanted one with a view to selling him mid year, but that 5th striker would have to be worth it.

I believe not. According to the official UEFA regulations a player only avoids being cuptied if their side is knocked out in the first, second or third qualifying round, despite other reports saying that it is 'preliminary rounds'.

Let's face it, our strikers all have their drawbacks & crapness, but their still better than this quartet: Pav, Gio, Bent, Erasure Campbell.

If we end up with Pav, JD, Keano & Crouch until January then so be it.
