But didn’t he play a full season last season ?
He did indeed. 36 appearances of the 38 games. I presume some would be from the bench.

I think back to when alexis sanchez struggled to establish himself at barca so transferred to a club who shall not be named and was given the platform to fulfil his potential. The optimist in me wants to believe that could happen. However if its the knee health that's limited his development that's another conversation entirely.

Wonder if it could indicate a new position of son in the middle if this were to be the approach we go for in the event Kane leaves.

Appreciate the reply.

I personally am neither pro or anti his signing and injury issues certainly need to be taken into consideration but if we want him would a loan with an option to buy be a possibility?

I don’t think Barca will sell with dembele going to PSG. It feels like enquiry, with no follow up talks tbh

All the names being thrown round shows me is that we don’t have a plan. We are less than a week away from Brentford.

I can’t see how a deal for Kane can be done and a adequate option be brought in between now and then tbh.

Great news on Mickey. Surprised we haven’t heard more about outs
They're just names on a list. Without context it doesn't really say anything.

They want Felix really badly and they need money and spaces. They will 100% sell. There’s been talk of Fati potentially being available all summer. Even with Dembele going it won’t effect this.

We shouldn't be signing Fati, way too much of a risk with his injury issues.
I'm sure the relevant medical people will be consulted. Seems like a case of balancing risk and reward as I would imagine we've been given rough probabilities of a few scenarios playing out. Based off that if we were sure he'd be a dud we wouldn't do it.

I think you could argue he might still be worth a punt, if he can't play 90 mins and can't get over his issues we will have Kulu ahead of him anyway. Club might be thinking 50% chance he's worth £10m in 2 years and 50% he's worth £150m +.

Ansu Fati has already had his meniscus removed - this basically means he could have long term knee problems jeopardising his career.

The meniscus removal operation happened in 2021. He has had no reoccurence of same knee issues till now. He has been playing bit part role last season. He did score 7 goals in the 1200 minutes he was played.

Fernando Torres once had similar meniscus tear injury in 2010, was operated upon and his career nose dived after that.

This is a high risk transfer. The medical practice in last 13 yrs have improved much. So, may be he wont be affected.
If we doing it, I better hope we do a loan + option with not much fee involved.
Re the meniscus I’d be amazed if he’d had it removed as if a surgeon carried out such surgery in most of the developed world they would likely be struck off. It’s much more likely the meniscus was partially trimmed as the full removal is a practice that ceased happening many years ago.

Anyway are the ITK, Is this guy any good?

The current post-injury Ansu Fati is so ill-suited to play as a winger for Ange's style of football.

He used to be a 1v1 monster and would look to take on his man ten times out of ten and to great success.

But after his run of bad injuries, he now never looks to take his man on.
It reminds me of Ryan Sessegnon a bit, where he looks scared to sprint full speed now.

I will say though, that he is so talented that it looks like he’s successfully rebuilding his game from the ground up and I do think he’ll still have a great career as a type of ‘Grealish post Pep gentrification’ style player.
