I think it is a reference to Casablanca. Not the Woody Allen play or the Manchester band. In popular culture, rightly or wrongly, that is a quote that relates to the Bogart film.

And someone on COYS has just pointed out that Bogart's character is called Rick BLAINE

To be fair...Bale is next to impossible to happen, Martial is going to be a very, very difficult deal and Rabiot we are perennially linked with before he signs a new deal. Point taken but agree with the first posters complaints more. Grealish will be a solid player for us though if it comes off.

Play it Again = About the main character Blaine = anagram for Bale IN

When will everyone understand that no matter what, it goes back to Bale?
