I know we all think we hate United the most, but I guarantee you no one here hates them half as much as Levy. So if Dier were to go anywhere we know 2 things

1. No one is sold unless Poch wants them sold
2. Levy wouldn't sell to United without taking anything less than a blank check, pulling their pants down and high-fiving Pogba while he rides into the sunset with Marcus Rashford in the passenger seat

Trix specifically defined his use of this icon as "there's something here to keep an eye on" in the Walker thread a couple of weeks ago though, and posted it shortly afterwards in the Dier thread too. The fact that Trix is using that icon means that there's something in this Dier stuff, IMO, even if it ultimately doesn't go through and he ends up staying.

I think it ultimately means he's interested in the move, but the likelihood of us letting him go this summer is near zero. He's unlikely to kick up a fuss and has only just signed a new contract so has little ammunition to force a move.

It does mean much hinges on our performance at Wembley next season for it not to come up next summer as well though. Mourinho loves Dier.

'Always look on the bright side of life' - could be something to do with cover for Son's recent injury perhaps?

Just to clarify, I don't know what the cryptic answer is, but the post I replied to seemed to fit the answer, and also what I had heard and posted a few weeks ago regarding Dier. I have heard nothing different since. He wants to play regularly in midfield and Jose is keen. It's one to keep an eye on IMO.

Selling Dier and Walker, two crucial members of a team that finished third and second over the last 2 seasons, would be a joke. Bordering negligence imo to strengthen two rivals like that.

At the moment we don't know if 2 players are going to go whether it be a rival or someone abroad.
One player might go granted but I really can't see levy or poch being that stupid to break up something special that we are on the verge of, that would send out the wrong signals to players and fan's.
If anything I see us hopefully uping the quality coming in making us a stronger, flexible and more rounded squad than last year at least I hope.

Someone else mentioned it, wonder if the shift at the end of last season:
1. putting him in the middle of the back 3 and then
2. partnering with Big Vic
were Poch's way of acquiesing to that wish while not hurting the team
There actually isn't a massive difference between being the DM that splits the CD (in a 4) and being the CDM in the back 3 and stepping up with the ball

It's Dier going to Utd and Poch and Levy are happy because the money from this and Walker enables some incomings that will make Poch a happy boy

So it's more that there is a interest in Dier rather than he wants to leave or we are going to sell him. Well that was well worth all that fuss then

I thought all ITK was largely in agreement that the only players leaving would be those Poch is happy to go. He literally starts Dier in every possible game, no way he sanctions him leaving. All imo of course

Dier - Pogba in the middle two. I think United fans will be happy with that midfield.

Will be very sad to see him go, we cannot afford to loose Dier imo.
