Btw, WTF is going on with COYS today? It's been down since 12.30 lunchtime and the last update about it's status was at 15.22!

he looked ok everytime i seen him, he is another i think out of contract in summer. as much as i dont rate ekotto one bit i see a new central mid player as more important. i see today that lass diarra agent said he is staying with madrid!! maybe just playing the game but i wud have loved to see him join us this month.

haha nice one. hansen was top top defender so i think mate he knows one or two things about players who claim to be one! anyway i have no doubt im not only spurs fan who does not rate ekotto, in fact i have about 20 mates off top of my head who think very much along lines i do but like i said imo centre midfield cud do with someone

Biggest problem now is reading through this thread and trying to work out what the 'real' ITK is and which is the spoof. Just spent 30 minutes wondering about Rackybear's 'ITK' before I checked out the link.

5ft 8inches and plays deeper than Suarez or Fabiano.

No lone forward that's for sure.

Common misconception, much like with Keane. He is very much and out and out striker, it just so happens that he's quick, small, has a dribble and is Italian so people assume he's a number 10. He's an out and out poacher.

Negredo is a player I mentioned ages ago on another forum, good player would be a great signing for Liverpool or us!

Negredo is brilliant, and would suit our formation superbly. Strange how we've heard very little, other than that tenuous link with Liverpool.

Is he? I've never seen him play, but some of the people on here have implied not signing him was a rocket sized bullet dodged, and generally he's been pretty average for Seville.

I was impressed with Negredo when he was at Almeria but since then he's just been an immobile and clumsy turd for Sevilla.


All this itk has been quite exciting but I really hope we do end up with a good striker and soon, because it's no good relying on Bale and VDV forever.

totally agree mate but i think pienaar signing gives harry scope to look elsewhere as he cud put bale back there and pienaar on left. he is more of a worker and grafter than niko i think defensivley anyway

Wouldn't have thought so. If they were using Babel in an exchange deal, they surely now have the funds to use instead to add to their kitty.

I hate that line, in any case its bloody obvious that he hasn't watched that much of him and insulting to many knowledgeable Spurs fans who watch the guy week in and week out.

Your 20 mates probably dont watch much of him either...A lot of Spurs fans know that he's still prone to a moment of madness and switching off but for the most part he's been bloody good. In some of the bigger games he's been amazing. United recently, City home and away he was stunningly good - last season.

I think a lot of people just jump on the bandwagon, which is pretty much a miss conception in any case.

One of the best LBs in the League at the moment. i am not sure I would swap him for any other LB in the Premiership.

We need back up for him though.

i still cant get my head round the Fabiano link again...i just cant see it, is he really better than we have already? im not talking quality on you tube, im talking right now. the settling in time, the age, the weather etc etc. is he really the next level? The next level isnt Fabiano its your Benzemas, Augero, "add name here" etc( i cant be bothered to google them). We missed out on Dzeko by all accounts whose a all round action man but next up were looking at a 30 year old brazillian who doesnt even get a regular start for Seville. i havent watch european football for a while so im relying on you guys but is he really that "special" player we need?


He will probably sign tonight and make me look a right cock, but at least i can edit my post :grin:

He's gone from looking like Morientes of Madrid to Morientes of Liverpool on the last 18 months. If we were to sign any Sevilla striker I'd still take Kanoute over all of them, even at 33. The guy is still superb.
