Signed for Derby last summer but was at Rangers for 18 months before that - perhaps a recommendation from the new scout from Rangers?

Has to be a youngster. Agreeing terms without news breaking is one thing (look at Villa with Ings for example), but then arranging a medical and media stuff potentially without it getting out would be borderline impossible with social media now.
