There's got to be at least 50-60m there.

Take 7 players out of this squad and you're also saving somewhere around 15-20 million a year in wages, depending on exactly which ones. We know Lloris is being shown the door - reportedly he's on 100k a week, for example.

I share your admiration for Chiesa, but in all honesty, I think Vlahovic would better meet the team's needs. A true goal scorer is essential, and Vlahovic could serve as the primary focal point, addressing that requirement. While Chiesa would bring valuable qualities to complement the team, having Dusan as the central figure could offer the desired firepower.
But if we buy Vlahovic we may as well sell Richy because he then goes back to being a very expensive backup.

I'm Hoping it's Dusan Vlahovic, ever since WLB gave that 1st tip the other day. Clearing the bloated squad of up to 7 players in itself would bring in another £70 to 80 million.

What's Juve's financial state? Do they just need cash on their books or do they need cash up front?

Us getting the best part of 80m up front for Kane might be quite the leverage, otherwise I don't see us affording both of them (and barely one of them).

There's no better options out their for us at the moment.

The money we got for Harry needs to be used and Chiesa would be the cheaper option i guess, but if there's a chance of Vlahovic he should be the one we go for imo.

Juve paid 70mil Euros for Vlahovic, and 40mil for Chiesa by the way.

Yes but he mentioned that the person he used to talk to who had the link had moved back home if I remember correctly
Yep, sadly he sold up the cafe a couple of months back and returned home - I say a few months. It was just after the pandemic so a year now. Jeez.

Name reveal

Initially, Vlahovic and Chiesa were the coveted players in the team's strategy after Kane's departure, prior to Paratici's ban. Despite the setback, his ongoing involvement means that both players are still viable options within the team's budget. It's worth noting that Juventus has currently rejected any approach, but the right amount of money could potentially change their stance. Considering the situation, my feeling is that if we pursue more aggressively, only one of these players will likely be secured.

Ange likes the players and thinks they would suit his system

They were the names I was hoping for. I’ve read they’re both for sale a few times of summer, so I hope we get this done. Would be very expensive I would imagine, like 140m.

I’m not allowing myself to get excited. We’ve talked about shedding players for many many seasons and do a terrible job of it. Not looking at the shiny things until the shelves are cleared

AC Milan and Chelsea have both expressed significant interest in acquiring Gift Orban. While the terms with the player are agreeable, we're still deliberating on whether to proceed with the deal, given his popularity within the club's hierarchy — a likelihood that's heightened. Additionally, we're actively considering alternatives for the same position, particularly two other players whom we're very enthusiastic about for the forward role; however, it's worth noting that these alternatives might come with higher transfer fees compared to Orban.

Navigating player departures is proving to be a challenge, as there's substantial interest in our players. However, the transfer fees being offered are falling short of the club's expectations, particularly in cases where Daniel Levy is involved, or players themselves are not inclined towards a move.
