INS & OUTS LATEST
We have an established budget for our ‘INS’
It will not effect the 3-4 players we have earmarked, and advanced to bring in. For clarification, we will bring them in regardless of ‘OUTS’

OUTS-We are negotiating loan deals, more than sales. Sanchez not available. His choice! He wants to prove himself (?-Hope I have not speaky-speaky too early). Sales extremely slow! Winks has loads of interest, but refusing to even speak to potential clubs, as he wants to stay until at least January, and prove himself. He has been told best he moves on. Serge, Sissoko slow interest. Serge likely to be ‘loaned’ if we can’t sell. It he may possibly’ prove difficult. Sissoko top pro, and loved by all, though he wants nee pastures. If does not happen he will be too pro about it.

All main action next week, as for other PL clubs.
Winks has been completely emblematic of our on pitch troubles the past few years and I get more frustrated watching him than any other player, but he has made me feel guilty for all of the stick I've given him. He's truly loyal and has the mentality you pray for from an academy product come good. I really hope that he finds a situation somewhere in Europe where he can get a fresh start and make a breakthrough, I just know that isn't with us.

Pretty surprised by this

I'd have thought that the INs would be impacted by whether we sell Harry or not.

I get it that, for instance, we would only get Vlahovic if we sold Kane, but I'd have thought that the quality of (e.g.) a second CB would be impacted by how much cash we have - but what do I know?!

Let's see, thanks Herc

We WILL bring a very good quality striker in. There is also another good name. Obviously not giving that out. The view of the club is; if Harry stays for at least this season, we have Dane Scarlet, who the club believes will be a major first team squad player, challenging heavily for starting birth. And for this reason they do not want overspend on a third striker. If Kane goes, it is another matter.

Hopefully the reality will dawn on Winks when he continues watching games from the sidelines and Skipp plays etc Mad he's risking not playing in a world cup year, (i mean he has no chance but surely he will think he does) Suggests he has a very high opinion of himself and thinks he is better than he is.

The problem is he will likely start leaking private matters to the press again to cause disruption. Refusing to register him for the PL games should do the trick.

putting our faith in a 17 year old to be the backup to our star, what can possibly go wrong?

(cheers for info herc)

Think Herc is saying we are going to bring in a CF regardless and we trust Scarlett to be the support striker alongside Kane and the new striker. But if Kane goes we'll bring in another striker, so we'll have two new strikers plus Scarlett.

At least I think so

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm really pleased to hear that Sanchez wants to stay and prove himself. He was so good in his debut season, and maybe with an elite centre back (Toby wasn't elite for the last two seasons) like Romero next to him that can be replicated.
Also pleased that there isn't any ITK on Dier leaving, because I bloody love the man.

Agree
and let's hope that Parrot has a great season on loan (that's for another thread)

It would simply be an acceptance that we won't get money for him so better to just get his wages off the books for this season.

He's a useful member of the squad, I think it would be very un-Levy to sanction such a deal
