I've been puzzled over this for a while, but are D1 and Dragon two separate people??

One is a Doctor, the other is a figment of his imagination

But seriously, I think you are confusing him with the Dragonese Lad

Sorry to pluck these two out of very many similar, so nothing personal buuuuuuuuuuuut.........

You and all the rest of the people who think they know what he 'thinks' are just making stuff up aren't you. You have no idea what he thinks. You have no idea how he feels about the club. Go on, fuck it, twist the knife, make stuff up and put the boot in, join in with the mob, why not? There's plenty at it.

What we know is that he was happy to stay all the time he saw progress and us competing. We haven't and the reasons for that are neither here nor there right now. At the time he made his decision we weren't progressing or competing. And the jury is till very much out on that even now. He wants to leave because he doesn't hold out much hope of winning stuff here and he's right. It's how he's gone about it, that's all, he's not Jack the fucking Ripper :D

We don't know what transpired last season between Kane and Levy, what was said or agreed going back to when he last signed a contract and we don't know how hard a decision it might have been for him to leave. He's never once, not once given the impression that he's a militant character and has always given his best. So this bad mouthing of his intentions, character and generally making him out to be some sort of prima donna is bollocks driven by, i'd guess, bitterness and disappointment. So when people say he 'obviously' thinks this or that, they are full of shit. We don't know much of what's behind this at all.

All we do know is that, for a combination of reasons that he's not entirely blame free for, he's conducted himself badly. There's far too much guilding of the lily going on here, Kane is this, Kane thinks that and it's all just made up guesswork. Based on not many facts. It's like a fucking lynchmob on here :D

I agree we don't know what Kane thinks or feels about this mess we are all in.

My daughter says that we judge others by what they say and do, and we judge ourselves by our intentions. That's true I think, and it isn't fair on Kane that we assume his intentions from the bits and pieces we can see and hear. For sure, there are loads of things that have gone on which we don't know about. Loads! Professional working relationships running to many years.

I think failing to turn up for training when the club wants, as a senior EPL pro and Eng Capt and face of club, is very poor, and there should be both apology and loss of internal presteige and influence for a time. It should be perfectly possible for Kane to get it all back by having a good attitude, showing remorse in his dealings with everyone at the club, blaming his agent and getting a new one, and accepting whatever Nuno wants from now on. His fitness, and his performances in training and on the pitch when he gets the chance, should count alot too.

If he stays we should make it work for him, because he has a long way to go on his contract, and as everyone is pointing out, next summer he could well be much lower on everyone's shopping list, and may not have anyone want him without a pay cut at all. If he doesn't go now, we may well have to pay his high wages for a long time.

Personally, I don't mind selling him to City. I felt that way before the summer too, as it seemed like they were the only club who might pay enough to get Levy to accept. As it turns out, they've blown alot of their cash on JG, and maybe even they won't pay enough, but if they do then I'd by fine with him going there. (If Aguero can't get in the team, then perhaps the problem is that the manager doesn't want to play a striker. HK might not get in the team either.)

100% this. Couldn’t agree more, HK would want nothing more to win something in a Spurs shirt but unfortunately has become disillusioned with our progress or lack of over the past 2 seasons. Can’t dispute too much of that, especially as he’s given everything during that period.

Gerrard came to a crossroads in 2005 and handed in a transfer request. May not be the whole truth but he admitted the pull of the Liverpool fan base was one of the things that kept him away from the new money team.

"I think the Liverpool fans played a huge, massive part. My connection and my love for playing in front of them," said Gerrard.
"You know feeling like I belong to this city. I always want to be able to go back to Liverpool and take my little kids to the matches and take my family to the matches. I didn't want to cause upset to them in any way.”

I for one, would welcome Harry if he stayed and I’m confident he’d give us everything because I’ve never seen him not.

Arrogance is built into the DNA of Arab Gulf males. And, yes I do speak from years of experience.
Man City are simply a Gulf state's sovereign wealth fund masquerading as a football club.
There’s been rivalry between the ruling families of Qatar (PSG) and Abu Dhabi (City) for very many years - most recently there was a complete breakdown of diplomatic relations from 2017 to 2014 with the UAE and Saudi Arabia putting huge pressure on Qatar. Given the arrogance of Gulf royal families you have to think that there are people in Abu Dhabi looking at Qatar signing Messi and saying to themselves “whats another £20m for Kane if it means we beat Qatar to win the Champion’s League”. After all for them paying more only changed some numbers in a bank account, it doesn’t actually stop them doing something else.

with all due respect. Wtf does this have to do with the itk discussions?

Didn’t Gerrard get death threats from Liverpool “fans” that might’ve influenced him?

I hope the good ITK isn't about Kane staying. Too much sh*t has gone down IMHO. I want Kane gone. I want us to play like we did today against City. Direct, aggressive, like a cohesive unit.

Besides Kane disrespecting the club, the staff, and most importantly the fans. I actually don't think we would have won today's match with Kane playing for us. He will never ever be able to lead the line as he did under Pochettino. Now he has to be the team's focal point and he has to have a free role, and despite him being world-class at what he does, I believe we can be even better without him. We can be a better collective without our best player - How strange does not that sound eh?
Spot on!

1000% the reason, an old mate of mine was part of a “firm” up there. It wasn’t just him getting threats, it was the whole family, and friends. Sick bunch of so called fans really.

Why are we kidding ourselves? I don't like Kanes behaviour at all but to say we don't need him and are better without him I can not understand. Kane can adapt to any sort of system as he is just an allround striker who can score goals, assist and work hard for the team.
Especially when we are facing teams who sit deep and don't offer room for pacy attacks, do you really want to rely on Bergwijn and co.?

Let's stop this shit. He's more than likely been advised to keep off social media. A bunch of fans crying because a player hasn't posted on Twitter is pathetic tbh.
It doesn't matter, at all.

No-ones crying about it. And as much as I agree with you that it doesn't matter I suspect you and I are of the generation that hasn't grown up with social media. He's got over 3 million followers who obviously do care what he says on there.

As much as I agree with you, I fear selling him to City.

Kane is exactly what they need to start trouncing teams by 5 or 6 each game. They're crying out for a top notch striker and focal point in attack. Added to the fact Kane can also play effectively as a false 9, he is perfect for Guardiola's City team

Good ol' Qatar. Keeping the Taliban leadership nice and safe currently.

sorry to disagree with you this time. Kane has implied, even if he has not said so directly, that he wants to leave and win trophies. To me that says clearly that he doesn't believe he can win trophies if he stays with spurs and that is disrespectful and insulting to the rest of the squad and the new manager.

While I agree with the opening part of your post and can't really blame Kane for wanting to win trophies, Sonny summed it up nicely yesterday. He said something like "we are all professional and will just focus on the job, we're doing something we enjoy and should continue to enjoy ourselves" this was he interview after the game on NBCSN.

Everyone is credibly hearing different angles on Kane situation. If you see we bring in 2 strikers ‘soonish’ then you know the caveat. If only one comes in, I am hearing we won’t be leaving it until late if citeh match what we want. It will then depend on the striker we have in mind to replace him. Our top target is the Serb striker, whose name slips me. Surname begins with ‘V’

Unless City pay the price, it's a no. It's really as simple as that. Personally, I'd prefer him to stay and for new signings to strengthen. Levy must have loved shaking the City representatives hands at full-time.
