To all fans travelling without a ticket and are interested in watching in a pub, The James Joyce pub have got back to me; they're fully booked with a limited number tables they had, but the rest of the pub is open on a first come first served basis, they suggest getting there early otherwise they'll turn people away if full......not sure how early though?? I'm aiming to pile in there around 7ish, hopefully its not overrun by Liverpool fans!!

Top Man. my train gets in to Madrid at about 9.00am so i will drop my bag off and head over hopefully i will still be able to squeeze in before it gets too busy.

sorry stubhub where way busy before tickets went on sale. most of them on there are from the so called UEFA FAMILY, someone given a ticket but have no interest in the 2 teams playing, so out to make a small fortune

I’m one of these mugs using stubhub , the tickets are slowly coming down in a price a little .. and I paid through the roof , I have saved all my money for this moment I had a feeling at the start of the season and had already told my missus il be going to Madrid in June (this was August) so now we have made it she has no problem with me going because I told her 9 months in advance !

I was a season ticket holder back in the george graham years then have stayed a member since getting to 10-20 games a season until 2006 and my family moved me to Australia as a late teen.

I’m paying through the roof for ticket , flight and hotel . And June at my work is a no go zone for holiday leave ( I work in financial services end of financial year ) but lucky my Aussie boss loves football and went to Ukraine to watch the dippers last year , couldn’t afford it this year and he convinced his boss for me to allow me to get a measly 3 days leave (5 including the weekend ) despite him and 1 other person in my team resigning in the same week

So yep I’m one of those stubhub mugs and il be going Over a fan who has been going for the last decade , and I’m sorry .

But now I’m in aus I do the whole 3am wake up for every single game and still live and breath the club. And will be meeting up with a number of Australia spurs flying over (100s) and my old spurs Mates from England flying over

Call me armchair fan or whatever but the dedication of our overseas fans is unreal and we should all be proud.

Sorry for the Drabble I wanted to just let it all out about my very expensive but hopefully unbelievable trip from Melbourne to Madrid ! COYS

I'll most likely be drinking outside in the vicinity of Plaza Colon during the day, depending on atmosphere etc, and then heading to James Joyce in the evening. If you're on your own, can meet up in a pub nearby. There's a few of us single travellers!

May I ask how much you paying for the ticket from StubHub - it is definitely an emotional rather than logical decision for this game

I am definitely banking on it reducing...

Fuck him go and live your dream.
Hope so! I guess it will depend on the demand and willingness to sell at a lower price.
His dream is to fuck his friend? I hope his mate knows about this!

In all seriousness @JCRD I wouldn't feel bad about it at all. As someone who missed out by ten points I can't begrudge anyone that's got a ticket from having the required loyalty points. Corporates and those selling tickets on at ten times face value can fuck right off though!
Whatever he does tell him to be careful! If I was a numb nut I’d have lost thousands this week all for the love of my footy team. I’ve found scammers on eBay, gumtree, Twitter, Facebook etc. It’s a minefield. ☹️

If I didnt have a ticket - id fuck my friend for one...

I agree about the likes of stubhub and people taking advantage of fans - the thing is its such an emotional decision and logic just doesnt come into it - we all know 3k for a ticket for 90 mins is ridiculous but the emotion is - it could be once in a lifetime game

wished you had told me in August, I'd of either purchased accom and flights, or I'd of had you sent to the looney bin and saved you an absolute fortune:whistle:

Specially when face value of the ticket is £60! ive been offered two for £7k and the guy wont budge. his words were "He can provide proof of authenticity and all emails from the club regarding sale and the collection email when he gets it" so he just brought them to profiteer! i feel like buying them just so i can meet him and smash his face in :)

I'm also looking at stubhub too but it keeps saying i have to have tickets delivered in Spain! My issue is i'm already £1900 down for flights and accommodation so if i watch it in a bar its a complete waste so do i then blow the budget and get a ticket and say i did it!:)

Do it and then report it to the club.

They’ve asked for the extra information now. I wonder what happens if you don’t send it!?!?

Seems an awful lot of personal data to give to UEFA.

Who the club have?

Yes, it’s for UEFA. No idea why they’d want it.

They want all your travel plans, CRN, name, address, DOB, passport number.

TRAVEL INFORMATION - UEFA

We are now required to provide information to UEFA and the Spanish authorities regarding how our supporters will be travelling to Spain. Please complete the form below with as much detail as possible and no later than 5pm Friday 24 May.

It's all in the small print

Ticket Holder Information
All ticket holders are obliged to provide information that will be passed to UEFA and the Spanish authorities ahead of the match. An online form will be sent to all purchasers after the sales windows have concluded which MUST be completed. The relevant authorities require an indication of how supporters will be arriving into Madrid. Providing accurate travel information assists UEFA and local authorities in planning and ensuring there are sufficient resources available throughout the city.

If you don't provide perhaps they will not issue the ticket.

I did think that, but what if you’ve already picked up your ticket before Friday.

It just seems quite intrusive.
