If the rumors are true, I want to place on record my thanks to Harry Redknapp..

I didn't want you when you were appointed, but with you in charge we avoided relegation, finished 4th, had a blast in the Champions League and achieved consistency in terms of our League position.

Your contribution to that, our squad strength, our style of play will be debated in a million other threads.

But for the record, you proved me wrong. I'm glad you came to our club when you did, feel proud of what was achieved when you were here and here's hoping we all move on to even better things.

Thanks. You had a twitch.

I've had some, if the not the best years of my Spurs supporting life under Harry. I really can't thank him enough.

Unfortunately a number of fans are so short sighted and see ten games where we performed poorly rather than the three preceeding seasons where we performed admirably, gained respect from other teams and pundits etc and improved our reputation.

Thanks `Arry. Been going to Spurs for 20+ years and never enjoyed it as much as the last few years. Seen some great football and fantastic matches. It's a sad day for me, who ever takes over will find a tough job but a great squad. Let's hope we can keep the quality and build on the squad.

Looked I wanted him to stay but to say it was a bad 10 games is putting it lightly it was relegation form as only wolves had worse form at one point and Bruce got sacked getting 2 less points than Harry in the same amount of games(14)

He was out the door as soon as he got a that shit to represent him imo and I wouldn't be surprised if that shit told Harry to threaten to leave us like he did with rooney to go to another club and Levy refused to be pushed around

Good Luck Harry and Manage a International team as that will suit you better and show England what you are missing imo

As I said in another thread, he's given me the best and most exciting 3-4 years of my Spurs supporting life. He's left us in a hell of a better place then we were when he took over. Let's hope I can say the same about the next man in.

Personally I hope the next man leaves when he retires

Even if it was the worst ten games it doesnt and shouldnt mean the other 140 games should be discounted. As someone alluded to, we dont know whether it was a mutual agreement, a sacking or a resignation what we do know is that our search for a new Manager has to begin with a better option than someone like Moyes.

I am a Martinez fan I like his style, the way he carries himself and above all he plays good football.

A point that those Harry doubters and haters should bear in mind is that a number of players will want to leave as a result. Players like VDV may want to leave, Modric is more or less on his way out and Bale? who knows.

Agree but for him to demand a new contract despite him rejecting one months ago is unfair to the club and to hire a scummy agent to try push it though, there was only one ending imo and he should of known

Thanks Harry. I may have had my issues with you, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the great things you did.

Agree with OP. Regardless of which camp you're in (and I'm still not completely sure which I'm in) there's no denying over the last few seasons we've played some of the best football in our recent history (as good as I can remember) and some of the best football in the country.

Best league finish since '87. Who was the last manager to take us to the Bernabéu? Or the last Spurs manager to beat AC Milan over two legs? For that I will always be grateful.

Thanks 'Arry.
