I think it was rather than build from the back with 3 players and a keeper, we use 3 including the keeper

I think ATM the teams that are trying to counter us are just relying on the low block with some doubling up in the middle third of the pitch to block passes centrally between the lines.
And/Or not getting drawn onto the CB's which is an effective way we use to create space for midfielders.
Which works if we are moving the ball slowly or taking too many touches but if we are playing well just means one extra quick pass out wide to then go past the channel being blocked.



Speed of movement and thought are the key.
