Forster
Sanchez Dier Davies
Doc Sarr Bissouma Sess
Gil Son
Kane

Knowing our recent cup history, I’d rather start fairly strong and try to win the game by 60th min.
Then we can bring on White, Skipp, Spence etc. with the crowd behind them and momentum on our side.
I fear if we start with a bunch of youngsters and happen to not play well or maybe go behind so they have to come off for the big boys, it just damages their confidence.

I want a blend. I want Sarr and Gil to be given the opportunity to improve and nail down a slot for the NLD.
And I want a rest for Kane Romero and maybe one other.

it’s a game for winning your place.

Obviously we don't have a lot to pick from... I would give Højbjerg a break and play with Bissouma, Sarr or Skipp....

Forster, Sessegnon, Emerson or Spence... will probably be Emerson... at CB Sanchez should play... give Romero a break. The rest of the defenders don't matter.

In front I would go Gil, Kane, Son again... get the job done and take Kane off... Gil and Son need more confidence in the bank. Same goes for Bissouma.

We can't take Portsmouth lightly.

I think playing some of the youngsters is fine as long as it’s a mix of them with experience nearby. Let Spence have a run with Kulu ahead of him, Skipp has enough know how to keep Sarr on the right path and Gil will do fine with Son and Kulu up top. I also think giving Son a shot as the main striker to bag some goals for confidence would be ideal

Yeah I think I'd like to see the Sarr/Bissouma midfield. I do think Skipp needs game which makes me want to pivot them in a midfield 3, but I think Sarr and Bissouma compliment each other well. Sarr most similar to Bentancur, while Bissouma is the CDM of the 2.

Tough one because Harvey White also played for Portsmouth and played pretty decent there iirc - wouldn't mind all of Bissouma, Sarr, Skipp, and White getting some time tomorrow.

My initial thoughts were this is a great game for Spence - but given that we may be looking to loan him out to a PL side - I can see where we keep him out, so as not to cup-tie him.

Royal Bissuma Sarr Sessegnon
Bryan Kane Son

I think Forster will get the early FA Cup matches, Sanchez over Tanganga, Royal over Spence only thinking we will not want to cup-tie Spence, Sarr over Skipp (but I think Conte will favor Skipp over Sarr), Kane and Son both in to start - full week before NLD, gives Kane a chance for club goals.

Well that team news isn't ideal.

Hopefully a week break gets the other two back.

Sorry fella
thats too many starting changes for me.

That back 3 is just asking for trouble. Changing all three is too much.

No Royal for me too~ MD for this as he's in form.

The rest OK~ just not all from the start
