Harsh leaving Lennon out I guess, but I'd like to see us go out and not be as open as we have been recently, and with a forward line of VDV Modric and Bale is enough to trouble any side on earth, but I'd like to see the industry and steel of JJ and Sarge behind who will allow the flair players to flourish.

That is one sexy team.

Bale might look like a fullback in the line-up but he will effectively be playing on the wing with Kaboul and Palacios offering added defensive protection. If the movement is right, and that comes with effective coaching, then i really think this is the winner.

I think the fact that we are in for Piennar could mean that this is the formation Harry might be leaning towards with Piennar replacing Jenas.

Um how? How would a dynamic midfield trio of Jenas, Palacios and Modric get slaughtered on the counter? Especially with Kaboul as one one the full backs who is a defensive beast with an abundance of pace.

Don't get me wrong, it's immensely enjoyable and certainly not a chore to watch, I just think we've got the tools for a title challenge but we won't win it if we are this naive.
