Ideally we'd want to give some of the youngsters a chance, but our confidence is low while Forest's is high and they're scoring for fun. We can't afford to lose this game and go into the Arsenal game on the back of 2 home losses.

We need to start a strong team and have some youth on the bench I think.

Would be tempting to play the same XI as yesterday and tell them they're all playing for their place in the team against the Filth. But some of them just need to be dropped/left out regardless, primarily Chiriches and Adebayor.

...................Vorm

Dier...Fazio...Vertonghen...Davies

..Bentaleb...Stambouli...Paulinho

.....Lennon...Soldado...Kane

Firstly we need to take this game seriously, I care about the cups more than I do the league, I want trophies not just put everything into getting fourth to be let down again, we could win this cup and I would be delighted, secondly players should be able to play wed and Saturday

Agree for me the cups games are more enjoyable because its competitions we actually have a chance to win. Sick and tired of that 'top 4' talk which seem to be the only thing the club and players care about nowadays.

Shit, Forrest are at the top of the table in a tough old league. Maybe we shouldn't treat them like mugs.

Fazio seems to be making a lot of first xis. Not convinced he is our saviour.

He doesn't have to be our saviour. Being just one of the many, many, many better centre halves than Kaboul and Chiriches will do for now.

From what I have seen of him he looks a good defender but its so hard to tell how someone like him will fit in to English football. If Mertesacker can do a good job of it, then I'm hoping Fazio can too.

I like this. Soldado could do with a strike partner. I want to see him played up top with someone to play off. Could revitalise him.
It works the other way too with Kane having a strike partner and just gives him an opportunity to showcase himself.

We could however be shooting ourselves in the foot here. I've just seen that they became partners at 58 minutes against Belgrade and I have absolutely no idea what the hell went on in that game so for all I know they were a shower of shyt together! Can anyone say if they were?

Mason and Veljkovic in the squad for the u21's tonight, so I'm not optimistic on either them or Spurs youth being involved unfortunately
