I think we have to avoid conceding the middle of the park so readily from the outset and that playing Kulusevski more centrally in the first half at least could help with that:

————————Lloris
————Romero—Dier—Lenglet
Doherty—Bentancur—Hojbjerg—Perisic
———————Kulusevski
—————Kane———Richarlison

Time to bench Son again also.
As much as he should I can’t see him doing it ?

Hopefully Forster in for Hugo, Richy or Bryan in for Son, Ivan in for Sess and Bentancur in for Sarr I suppose, think PEH has to start this one, Sarr been faultless so far, very impressed with him

I couldn’t really give a fuck if it helps them now. I’ve already accepted they’re gonna win it. I just want to see us put in a good performance for what would feel like the first time in months.
This...fuck what the other lot are doing. ...More points for us= closer to CL qualification - all this " I hope we lose to stop them winning the league"bollocks, outrageous treason if you ask me lol...

Whether PoK and others are correct, I think we absolutely have to start dropping out-of-form players. It's been an issue at this club for years; letting poor-performing players stay in the team for too long. Squad players get despondent, and when we want to change something up, we don't get any better because why should squad players try to perform when they know the favourites will be right back in again?

Lloris, Son, Emerson, and Dier should not be starting for a while. Though if Doherty is ill then that leaves us with little option. I'd even suggest that PEH should drop out for Bentancur or Bissouma if his ankle is good. Sarr was thrown in against Arsenal and held his own. I think he deserves to stay in as a reward.

I could care less about Arsenal. Win this, and it's a whole different second half of the season for us. Like last year, when the mood was very much similar before the City game.
Start your best players regardless of form. This is no time for experiments.

I am 100% behind Conte, but in saying that I will lose some respect if Hugo starts tonight

Sick of the back 5.
Chose Royal and Sess cause I think there best suited to the full back role from our options.

Hugo
Royal Romero Lenglet Sess
Bentancur Bissouma
Kulu Kane Son
Richarlison

Sonny deserves to be benched but he usually does well against City. PEH is another who has stuttered in the last few games with poor passing and looking a little lost in midfield but Conte always picks him and he rarely gets subbed.

You're better off sacking off the first half and seeing if we're not predictably losing 0-2.

Although I say this, I'll be watching from the start. It's football masochism ?

PoK has Doherty out as being "unwell".
Honestly totally fine with that today. All we’re going to be doing is defending so may as well have Royal in. He’s also better than Doherty progresing/breaking with the ball up the field in the few chances we may have to do that despite his atrocious-ness in the final 3rd.

Said when walking out last weekend, first half doesn’t count, so a goalless draw wasn’t that bad

Son has to be on the bench. It's like starting with 10 players when he is on the pitch.

Defo drop Son. Better him making an impact as a sub late on and building up some confidence again.
