Quite a big difference between that and what we could've been lining up with:
Vicario
Porro
Emerson
Dier or Dorrington or PEH
Udogie
Bentancur
Lo Celso
Kulu
Johnson
Richy
Gil
Could be the difference between 0 points and 3 points which could be massive at the end of the season.
So so so refreshing to get our business done early (assuming Dragusin gets done by end of today).

Would also like this. But I think Ange will go with Skipp instead of Lo Celso and depending on Radus first training sessions again with Royal next to VDV.

Look at the transformation in that back 5 since last year in the absence of Romero (plus an inform Porro). Love it.

He might still start if VDV is not ready to start, with Dragusin on the left.

As there have been many swings this way and that as to who would be leaving and who would be staying in our defence it would have been far better if this game had been in the 2nd weekend batch of fixtures rather than the first. There is nothing we can do about that and we have to play this game on Sunday.
Where does this realistically leave us for a starting centre back pairing and inevitably substitutions as we don't have Davies available.
Would Dragusin even be available for selection to even play any part of this game ? Say the last 30 mins.
Can't say in the really short term than I'd be happy to risk Van De Ven for the whole game having just literally come back from a hamstring injury the absolute last thing we need is a long lay off again in his case because we've pushed things too far and too fast.
What if Dragusin can't play because he's not registered in time ? Do we have any sort of CB sub cover albeit for 30 mins or so and if so who would that be ? Surely we've made provision for that somewhere, is there anyone left standing who can be thrown in if necessary?
