It's simple for me, we need to go back to last seasons system and personnel as close as possible.

That means dropping Wanyama and playing Dier and Dembele providing him and Toby are fit.

Fuck form it shouldn't matter in a derby, let's just go back to basics and smash the scum, maybe harsh on Vic but I want the old system and old shape back.

We really need to start Winks. He seems the only player ready to zip the ball around at pace right now.

But Dier is not in form, did you watch the Leverkusen game? You would bench our current best DM because you want to replicate last season?

With the respective form of both teams right now, I can't see anything other than us getting thumped, and that's the first time in ages that I've felt that before a game against Arsenal. Would bite your arm off for a draw this weekend.

Bar a last min winner they couldn't beat a part time Bulgarian team mid week. They are beatable, and bar weds I would be confidant of a win. I just hope Weds was just some sort of mental fuck up and it will wake the players up.

We're gonna get smashed in.

Useless players and a manager whose run out of ideas entirely.

Keep trying the same shit hoping for a different result.

It's gonna be bad.

I know i will get alot of stick for this first team but alot of people are saying we need to mix it up.

Hugo
Tripper-Dier-Verts-Davies
Wanyama
Walker-Lamela-Son-Rose
Jannsen

Walker and rose might be the pace and skill we need to find the front man and give jannsen the chance to bag a couple.

spent last night watching some old youtube footage of NLD games , the 5-2's , the 5-4, and our capitulations at highbury, dont know why i do it to myself but always gets me in a spiteful mood for the derby.... as glib as they were kind of puts things in to perspective, we had to be content with the Likes of Pamarot, Postiga, Ziegler and Tarrico... even though were missing big names this weekend, im still happy we have the likes of Jan Danny rose, hugo and Dier who are all top pro's and will bring their A game come sunday. feel we can keep it tight, frustrate the arse, their fans will get on top of them and we can spring on Kane for a bit of a lift.

in terms of team selection, it wont happen, but if moussa aint fit, id play Kev wimmer at the back and dier in the middle. dier was fairly shakey at that big wembley pitch.

What about a 352? Use rose and walker pace to get up and down. Give some back up to vert and dier. With wanyama you have a back 6. Get the wing backs up the pitch when we have the ball.

what has worked? Dier and wanyama hasnt worked against teams where we have a lot of the ball, and they pass it back or side ways. i feel on sunday arse could Boss possession , and would fancy dier and wanyama to brake things up.
Couple this with Dier's performance as a CB on that big wembley pitch.. didnt really fill me with confidence.

Lloris-
Walker---------Toby-------Verts-------Rose
Wanyama
Dembele------Eriksen
Lamela---Alli
Kane

Wanyama to take the pressure of the defense.
Eriksen deeper to be more in the building play and to hold on to the ball, when we have it. This is not a game we should control in our recent form. I will take 1 point up front.

Wimmer for Toby if injured
Winks for Dembele if injured
Janssen for Kane if injured

Drop Wanyama who has arguably been our player of the year so far, for Dier, when we have no other centre backs and also looked like he'd never seen a football on weds?

Love Dier to bits (and he loves me) but 1. Who else will be CB? and 2. Why would you drop Wanyama?

Their form is massively inflated and scraping results against Swansea, Ludogorets and Middlesbrough isn't exactly being on top form. We have the ability in the squad, it just doesn't seem to be clicking right now.

When it does we'll become a decent side again. Hopefully Kane and Toby are back and fit enough to not be considered a risk

We know for a fact Toby out, and no chance Kane can start

Same players and manager as last season that got us the highest league finish in years. You do know all teams have dips in form including teams like Barcelona. Your post is just utter garbage.
