Yes he does

I was one of his biggest supporters all last season even with most had given up on him.

Two goals doesn't mask the fact he's performed very poorly all this season and most of pre-season.

Also away from home Lamela and Townsend on the wings will us way more on the counter.

Lamela was better this match than Sigurdsson, though not by much.

But he hasn't, he played very well against Tbilisi at home and very well against Norwich and those are 2 most recent of his 4 starts before tonight (and he wasn't bad tonight) and reckon he starts again as he is besides strikers, at least out of the available ones, player that benefits most out of Eriksens creativity. I mean there is little point in creativity of Eriksen without the other end (outside striker and Gylfi, reckon Paulinho will offer something there). I reckon AVB will choose him in XI.

I hope AVB doesn't repeat the often made mistakes from last season if Naughton has to be used at LB on Sunday. We know what will happen... He cant go forward on that side so wont provide width, which will leave our play very predictable and congested. If he is going to play there then Townsend has to play ahead of him to provide an outlet and some balance. This even applies if we stick Vertonghen there (Although I don't think we will), he gets forward at times but is more comfortable goal side of the ball.
