Fantastic player if we are going 3 at the back, although I'm not sure he could play RB in a back 4 as he's so small, so this would limit us.

That said he has 1 major red flag. He has missed most of the season with a horrific hamstring injury and it would be a massive risk to spend big money on him before we see how he recovers.

Is interest really “breaking news?”

we havent even stepped it up to considering a bid or preparing to bid yet.

Would be a great signing. Elite pace, biggest thing we need to address in the summer I think. We’ve become a slow, unathletic side especially in defence and midfield and apart from Son and maybe Reguilon no ones capable of getting on the wrong side

I don't see the attraction. All pace and attacking but lacking defensively. And had a few hamstring injuries and too small to be any use at set pieces.

If we're playing wingbacks then I'd rather see Doc get a chance

Big yes if PF will play WBs. Not so much if we play a back-four.

I was very impressed with him but, like Doherty at Wolves, there’s a danger that he is the perfect fit for that system. He is, however, much younger and also clearly has a lot going for him on the technical side.

Agree. If Paratici/Fonseca want us to play a back three and wing backs he'd be a perfect young player for us to go for assuming he reaches pre-injury levels, but I'd worry about signing him and then playing a back four for the same reason Doherty's struggled.
