He was shit in Turkey, no reason why he would be anything better in Holland.

Anyone else heard these rumours that Taarabt was watched by Man United scouts yesterday? Probs BS, but you never know.

Rio Ferdinand put on his Twitter that he'd pay to watch him.

I think thats as far as scouting him went.

I'm pleased that Taarabt has found his level.

He would also lamp him if he had to play in the same side as him though

This attitude is exactly why so many young players struggle at big clubs these days, unless they're Messi at the age of 18 then there's no hope for them.

Adel is just a kid, he's still learning and has a long way to go, anyone who actually watches him can see that he does have very good footballing ability, yes he's a bit of a prat at times but he's young and just wants to express himself. As for him "finding his level" he's been the standout player in the Championship this season by an absolute mile, this at the age of 21, that's not finding your level.

Taarabt had already grown fed up by the time Harry took over. He desperately wanted to leave us. So much so that he actually said he'd wished he signed for Arsenal instead. So whether he goes on to become a great player elsewhere is irrelevant. He wanted to leave, he left. Get over it.

You have to earn your chances in top flight football, by being outstanding in training and then making an impact as a sub. Taarabt did not, as every time he did play he either refused to pass or decided he could taken on the opposition by himself...

and i agree ,but ,can we really say he was given a fair chance ,with his what ,max 10 cameo appearances ?

Gio looked great in the WC ,its in there ,just needs nurturing / dragging out .

You have got it completely wrong mate, its attitudes like Adel's which is exactly why so many young players struggle to make it.

Just because everyone says you are a footballing genius does not make you a top player. Its the hard graft that gets you there, look at pretty much all the world's top players, the one thing they have in common is the attitude that they want to win and are willing to work to get there. Messi, Ronaldo, Lampard, Modric, Rooney, Beckham, Zidane etc. have all put in/did put in the hard graft to get them there.

Can you imagine Taarabt asking one of the senior players to stay a little longer and help him with his crossing, or turning up to training early so he can get into the gym to build up his body strength. I can't, thats why he is not playing for a big club currently, and it will remain that way until the penny drops for him.

Sorry for this irrelevant post mods....

Kyle Walker, Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon, Tom Huddlestone all young lads, none of which were/are Messi and yet still succeeded.

You can also add in a plethora of young talent - Townsend, Caulker, Naughton, Kane, Parrett etc etc who were loaned out but importantly, retained by the club.

I'm sorry to keep picking you up on this Brett, but you are talking about Taarabt as though he has made a massive statement and we've made a huge mistake. As I and others have said, he has achieved nothing, if he does this in the PL next year, then is the time to write the types of things you are, but not now.

Of course he has talent, but so do tons of young players, it means nothing. He was let go for a reason. Have you watched the games this year when Taarabt has been terrible? There have been a fair few, it isn't as though he is running rings around the opposition all the time, every game.

You know who did dominate the Championship and was wanted by a PL team? Give a guess......he is still owned by us
