Japhet Tanganga is expected to be the latest Tottenham player to sign a new long-term contract. Tanganga's current deal expires at the end of next season but he is close to agreeing fresh terms, which are expected to run until 2024 and significantly increase his current £1k per week wages.

No surprises here. Following breaking into the team/squad would always be offered revised terms as a reward. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign an even more improved one in another 12 months time. Great talent, attitude and person (from his interviews - don't know the lad personally lol).

Great! With further development, he could be the answer for the troublesome right back position that we haven't properly filled since Walker left.

The academy set up is pure honey, if Tanganga was at West Ham or any other small club, he’d cost us 20/30 million.
