Oh good grief. I knew this would happen

Nice bloke as he probably is, if you think that Tainio is the sort of player we need in our squad (yes squad not starting XI) as we (hopefully) push for CL place then you might as well take a different train and go watch West Ham, Fulham, Charlton etc. as you don't know the difference between an average and a good player

Un-effing-believable

:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

PS. For the eeejut who claimed others were BLIND and that Teemu NEVER let us down. How about being sent off (with obvious frustration about turning in another mediocre performance) with about 10 mins to go against Sevilla

PPS. I take it member called Teemu will go to Sunderland forums now ??

Worst. Post. Ever

Teemu will certainly be missed. He would have been in my starting midfield along side Jenas last year.

He played a big role in our first 5th placed finish, and despite being signed to play in the middle, never moaned once about playing on the right (where he started after Rout buggered himself vs Pompy) or on the left (for a lot of his first season).

A true yid, who would have been a great player to keep in the squad. Still, he deserves a chance of regular first team football, and I'll certainly be cheering as loud as anyone else when he comes back to the Lane.

Good luck Teemu

Yes but you did infer that we would suffer without him unless Ramos has a 'trick up his sleeve'. That, I'm afraid, is ridiculous and far more worthy of description 'talking out of your arse'.

I'm also not 100% convinced about Zoko or Hudd (yet) long term for DM but I'd pick either above Tanio in a heartbeat.

I'm feeling very positive at the moment with Ramos getting shot of slow journeymen and buying pacy, skilful youth.

Now do.......please.....remind me of the definition of the word 'constructive' :)
We need a signing in that position, that's what i'm saying. Yes we need to improve the team but if we don't get somebody else in who's better we're hardly improving the squad are we? If Ramos does sign somebody then fine.

You say yourself you're not totally convinced by our central midfielders. Prince Boateng hasn't exactly been a revelation and even Modric who looks the business is unproven in the prem.

So..

Great bloke and a very useful player when he was fit. Always loved his workrate and willingness to muck in. Good luck at Sunderland TT!

 so he'll be missed from....oh yeah....your imaginery line up.

Gave 100% every time he pulled on the shirt - same as Malbranque - no contention there - but his 100% is lower prem standard.....which is why he'll be better off with Sund.

So worst post ever...bar one Eek

Sad to see him go. :( a true yiddo. Always giving his all whenever he's played for us.
Never really got the praise he deserves. Unfortunate with his injuries for us. Could've been a massive player for us.
Good luck with your new team mate!

He'll be missed from our squad. If you cannot see that, I'm sorry, but we'll have to disagree. Do you honestly not remember him filling in all over the place, and always doing a job? Or the fight he showd when the others looked like they couldn't give 2 squirts of piss? (you said he let us down when he was sent of with 10 minutes to go vs Sevilla - it was in injury time, and it was because he cared so much that he lost it). Do you not remember the absolutely brilliant performance at home to Arsenal in the 5-1 game? He had Fabrigas in his pocket all night.

Say what you will matey, but while you're entitled to your opinion, I myself find it hard to understand how people will not miss him at all.

Oh and that cracking finish against West Ham in the 3-4.

Should have kept for this season & let his contract elapse next summer - still pretty handy to keep on board. I guess the moneymen saw a couple mil & had to take it.
