this has probably been mentioned elsewhere... but did anyone else notice that robbo kept signalling for everyone to move into the middle before launching one of his scuds??

Our best player after O'Hara...

Yeah he did play very well all considering. Although what made me laugh was that the PSV coach put Farfan on him immediately, like a Wolf on a sheep; O'hara never let us down though. I think that there was only one mistake he made. Other than that he played well. His freekicks were atrocious though, but they were for both teams. They must not have been used to the balls?

He was bought on to add a spark and did just that. He ran with some purpose and looked hungry to have an impact. I loved the way he demanded the ball at all times, shows a great deal of confidence. I noticed at one point he was out on his own on the left wing and was waving his arms at Robbo like mad, didn't get the ball and turned to Ramos as if to say "Tell Him...", Ramos nodded and pointed in field and off Taraabt ran looking for the ball again.

He has improved when I last saw him play.. West Ham away I think it was, he is now less selfish, passes the bal around a bit more and still has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. I think he is a hot prospect, and we will see a lot more of him in the starting line-up in the future.

I got fed up of the typical responses from a few people on the first page, and would ask anyone to explain to me how him not getting a touch on the ball quicker was his fault? I think any criticising him last night, is being very harsh.

I like Taarbart he has the potential and skill sets IMO to be a player in the Kaka mold. It was also interesting that Ramos brought him on when we ran out of ideas and resorted to the long ball.

I don't think Taarabt showed any more maturity last night. He always looks for a pass, though it always seems to be after a 5 second mazy run. The only few times he's acted really selfishly was when he brought on as a sub in games we were already winning.
