With the various merry-go-round moves and rumours of late, let's imagine that Poch jumps from PSG to Man U mid-season.

If offered a straight swap, would you take Poch back and let ManU have Conte, or would you stick with Conte and face Poch in the Old Trafford dugout?

fwiw, I'd find it a tough decision when considering the history and emotions, but overall I'd stick with Conte.

As much as I love Poch, Levy wouldnt be pulling out all the stops he seems to be if Poch came back. Conte is a different level manager and we seem to be letting Conte do it his way. The Club needs to be changed to be able to move forward. Conte it is for me.

No no no no no. I’m a huge fan of Poch and all he did for us and may yet do in the future. But may Conte’s reign be long and glorious. The club has been all over the place the last few years. Get behind the manager, stay focussed, and who knows, maybe he’ll be the best thing since Bill Nick.

I was really hoping both Poch and Conte would fulfil contractual obligations with success and no disharmony.

We would then seamlessly return to Poch in summer of 2023 and world domination

Wow. We can all pine over Poch when the alternate was ryan mason and nuno but now with Conte this question is bordering on embarrassing

We move forwards, not backwards. I loved Poch and the good times we had under him, but we won’t do any good pining after him. We genuinely have one of the top four or five coaches in the world now, someone who has achieved much more in the game than Poch, we get behind him and we see where he takes us.

Fair question i though, but badly put.

Just had to be who would you rather have in charge at this moment, Conte or Poch?

Easy one for me, Conte all day every day. Past was fun but the future is bright, olive skinned, ruggedly handsome and touped

Had you asked me in the summer, yes, Poch 100%.

Had you asked me when Nuno was sacked, yes, Poch 100%.

Now we’ve got Conte, the answer is no. In the summer, it felt that we were going to rip up everything and start again. Poch would’ve been the perfect candidate for a rebuild. Conte coming in has flipped everything completely. We’re not looking to rebuild anymore, we’re looking to extract the maximum out of this squad with a world class manager and (hopefully) back him with what he feels the squad needs right now in the coming windows.

Ask me when Conte leaves and the answer is yes, Poch 100% as that will then be rebuild time.

Poch was the perfect manager at the perfect time for us. The wheels came off due to the lack of investment in the squad in the end but he worked wonders with our team.

As much as people pine for that experience again, our club has changed, players have changed, the trajectory of our prospects has changed, in some ways for better, worse in some other ways.

Ultimately for me, too little water has passed under the bridge to have him back at the moment. There'll be too many nostalgic expectations on the set-up and frankly none of it is helpful. I know it's all hypothetical anyway.

We have a top coach now, he needs time to implement his approach, bring in players and push on with us. With the right backing, he's proven to do great things as well, so to be honest, anyone theoretically willing to ditch Conte for Poch is letting their heart rule their head.

Sorry, but this must be one of the most idiotic threads I've ever seen.

World-class manager and serial winner Conte was appointed 3 weeks ago.

One of my biggest fears with Poch returning is that he’ll fail spectacularly and end up ruining the reputation he built in his first tenure at the club. Obviously that’s impossible to predict but it’s entirely possible.

I loved Poch but the spine of his squad was here before he joined. Lloris, Rose, Jan, Walker, Dembele, Eriksen, Kane. Of course he can take credit for coaching them but I don’t think he’d have that level of quality at his disposal if he returned now.

All I will say on this is that it would really suck to see Poch at Utd and hope it doesn't happen.
It very well might happen. Been talking for weeks, and why they are looking for an interim coach. It's my opinion why they were happy to stick with Ole and limp through until the end of the season.
