I doubt it too. If Schneiderlin and Lovren are there at the start of the season I would be very surprised.

I think they will cash in on these two, sometimes a club in Southampton's position can't turn down offers for players. Clever scouting and promotion from the academy could see them top 10 again if Koeman is up to it though.

A decent experienced left back could do the same job as Shaw did for them, Utd are paying for potential, likewise with Lovren, a decent chunk of cash they could pick up a quality CB to keep them floating around the top 8-10th place.

Lallana, Lambert and Schneiderlin for me will be tricky to replace, a player like Leroy Fer could be a good fit for them in CM with Wanyama if he can stay fit, Koeman might even get Ramirez firing.

Because under Cortese's ownership and Pochettino's management there was a long term project.
Cortese then left, Poch joined us and the players have been left somewhat disillusioned.
I would like to think that some of them would at least want to see what Koeman has in mind, but I guess money talks.
