SMS has definitely slowly been moved up the pitch, he is much more adept at playing CM then Eriksen is as he's played there for several seasons. SMS is very much a creative player, 11 assists in the league this season, 10 last season, he has excellent passing range. I just don't see them playing much in the same team and if anything SMS is more versatile in that he can play CM and AMC. Not saying i wouldn't want both, but i just don't see the need for both considering how many positions we are trying to get.

How do you think SMS would fair in a two-man midfield in the Prem? Whenever I've seen him he's played as the most advanced of a three.

I think it would be great to have the option to change formation, but he seems too expensive of a signing to bring in as that option if he can't function well in a 3-4-3, especially since the 3-4-3 is already working well and seems to suit a lot of our players.

It's almost falling into place like some of us (and Levy himself) have been saying.
Get the stadium up and running and the club can begin to stretch it's legs.

Then player sales will help adding the other positions:-

- Rodon and Sanchez —> Bremer £35m
- Reguilon —> Kostic £15m or Raum £20m
- Winks, NDombele and Lo Celso —> Phillips £45m
- Doherty —> Spence £20m


Add In freebies like Perisic and Eriksen, and we would have an amazing squad.

We'd be lucky to have him but I think others get caught up with the fact that he's not a 200m world superstar and not a young prospect that can become one, but he'd make our attack the best in the league. If you're telling me our front 3 could rotate between Kulu/Son/Sterling across four competitions then I'm feeling really confident!
