Just don't get how if you win the ball like Wanyama did how you can get a yellow. Unless it's absolutely terrible like a leg breaker or a stamp.

Every year I forget why I hate Stoke and especially their fans and then we play them. They will run out of people to boo before long.

Apart from a well worked goal it's been pretty poor stuff again.

I'd move alli into midfield for Wanyama who has looked useless. What's he providing except throwing his weight around :S

What sort of attitude is that?

I know it is cynical, I back the shit out of this team. But I do know we have played more our style when one of Dier or Wanyama is out of the team. And with Vic on a yellow it is obvious to me what needs to happen.

The yellow makes it that more apparent...imho

Ref is having a stinker.

How come no commentator has picked up on the high foot that almost took walkers head off in the six yard box?

We've played ok I guess but we do seem to have some issues creatively early on this season.

We need him to do that more often though. Not just every now and then

I don't know why you're riding our most productive midfielder from last season so hard tbh, he's already shown that he can be very productive for the team and a slow start doesn't change that. Can I remind you that he's only 24 too?

Really poor half by us. Stoke are atrocious, we should be hammering them.

Our counters are complete rubbish and we are only playing at half our capacity.

I'd be going bananas at 'em.

Don't want this to become a habit.

Too many players sitting in their comfort zone.

This season is a beast and we need to build on what we did - and the way we played - last season, not sit on it.

Poch needs to pull his finger out and blast that first half performance.

Alli looks to be finding some confidence again. Nice goal by Son. I know Eriksen got the assist but he's just not on form at the moment. Particularly bad when in possession and ends up in contact. So easy to dispossess. We did get better as the half went on. Kane desperately needs a goal!

It's a funny game. Son has fucked up numerous opportunities and openings, yet his instinctive finish is the difference.

We deserve to be in front, but fuck me, we have squandered so many openings and half chances with poor passing, lack of imagination and the inability to do the simple thing. Ali's attempted Hollywood scoop pass when he had a simple reverse ball to put Son one on one, sums us up perfectly at the moment.

We should beat these lot comfortably second half if we use a few more brain cells.

He went missing way too many times last season.

Would say he was worth every penny tho. KDB is one of the best in the world, Son will never be on his level. And I like Son (although he frustrates the hell out of me).
Oh, absolutely. But the implication of my post is that the base difference between Man City and us is their money.
